Summary

This collection includes 36 poems and 12 "incantations" that focus on the intertwined spiritual concepts of Light and Love. The poems, initially written within Catholic mystical tradition of contemplation and adoration of the Divine presence, gradually evolved to encompass a broader scope of spiritual insights, without losing the main focus: reaching out in Love to the One Light, the Source of All. The simple and repetitive meditations and incantations are meant to inspire, uplift, and fill the heart with Light and Love.

Maja Trochimczyk, Ph.D., is a Polish American poet, music historian, photographer, and author of six books on music, most recently "Frédéric Chopin: A Research and Information Guide" (rev. ed., 2015). Trochimczyk’s books of poetry include "Rose Always," "Miriam’s Iris," "Slicing the Bread," "The Rainy Bread," and two anthologies, "Chopin with Cherries" and "Meditations on Divine Names."
Available since: 08/01/2016.

An intense real-life thriller centred around the most important weather forecast in the history of warfare.
June 1944. One man's decision is about to change the course of history.
Everything is in place for the biggest invasion ever known in Europe - D-Day. One last crucial question remains: will the weather be right on the day?
Problematically there are two opposing forecasts. American celebrity weatherman Colonel Krick predicts sunshine, while Scot Dr James Stagg, Chief Meteorological Officer for the Allied Forces, forecasts a storm. As the world watches and waits, General Eisenhower, Allied Supreme Commander, must decide which of these bitter antagonists to trust. The decision will not only seal the fates of thousands of men, but could win or lose the entire war.
An extraordinary and little-known true story, David Haig's play thrillingly explores the responsibilities of leadership, the challenges of prophecy and the personal toll of taking a stand.
Pressure premiered at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, in May 2014 before transferring to Chichester Festival Theatre, in a production directed by John Dove, with the author playing James Stagg.

This audiobook includes exclusive introductions to a select number of Charly’s poems, an interview between herself and her friend, Jack Harries, and music from Tom Rosenthal.
She Must be Mad explores coming-of-age: the pain and beauty of love, the relief and the agony of turning from girl to woman, the isolation of an untethered mind and the power and subjugation of the body.
Charly captures the formative experiences of today’s young women from the poignant to the prosaic in writing that is at once witty, wry and heartfelt. Wayward nights out that don’t go as planned; the righteous anger at those men with no talent or skill or smarts who occupy the most powerful positions in the world; the strange banality of madness and, of course, the hurt and indecision of unrequited love.
For every woman surviving and thriving in today’s world, for every girl who feels too much; this is a call for communion, and you are not alone.
In She Must Be Mad, Charly Cox, one of the best English authors, delves into the themes of love, loss, and the transition from girl to woman. Her poetry, filled with grief and the complexities of the human mind, is a testament to her talent and the power of her words.
For fans of Ana Sampson (She is Fierce), Baek Sehee (I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki), Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love), Rupi Kaur (Milk and Honey), and Courtney Peppernell (Watering the Soul).

Duluth, Minnesota. 1934. A community living on a knife-edge. Lost and lonely people huddle together in the local guesthouse.
The owner, Nick, owes more money than he can ever repay, his wife Elizabeth is losing her mind, and their daughter Marianne is carrying a child no one will account for.
So, when a preacher selling bibles and a boxer looking for a comeback turn up in the middle of the night, things spiral beyond the point of no return…
In Girl from the North Country, Conor McPherson beautifully weaves the iconic songbook of Bob Dylan into a show full of hope, heartbreak and soul. It premiered at The Old Vic, London, in July 2017, in a production directed by Conor McPherson, and later transferred to the West End, Broadway, Australia, Ireland and toured the UK.

Chaucer’s greatest work, written towards the end of the fourteenth century, paints a brilliant picture of medieval life, society, and values. The stories range from the romantic, courtly idealism of The Knight’s Tale to the joyous bawdy of the Miller’s; all are told with a freshness and vigour in this modern verse translation that make them a delight to hear.

This is a collection of poems about Charleston and the South Carolina Lowcountry. DuBose Heyward was a Charleston native best known for his novel Porgy, which was the basis for the Gershwin opera Porgy and Bess. Reverse engineering the word, meme splicing, morpheme replacement therapy, phonetic modifications: these are some of the techniques in play throughout Reading the Bible Backwards, the lyrical thought experiments that make up this eagerly anticipated new collection of poems by Robert Priest. By throwing the Bible and other cultural narratives on the turntable and spinning them backwards, Priest unleashes surprisingly new but strangely familiar music and meaning. Whether the movements are sideways, inverted, or omni-directional, his satire has never been sharper — or darker. Ultimately, though, Priest’s lyric voice has never been more finely tuned or elegant, especially in the wonderfully groundbreaking “I Love You Forwards” poems that afford this book its remarkable balance.
