Sinopsis

At the Summer Solstice, the prophecy states the greatest powers in the history of the Sisterhood will pass down to the next daughter of Eve. Imbuing her with an ancient and powerful energy. She must be made to undesrtand her purpose by the previous daughter of Eve. It is a great honour, and the ancient powers should be used wisely. The ancestral light energy is full of love and compassion, remembering the light will always beat the dark.

This is a set of short stories about 4 kick ass women who fight evil through the centuries from the time of the Knights Templar in 1307, right through to WW2. Each of these amazing women have been given a gift by God, a magic gift of light energy which helps bring light to the dark, aiding them in defeating evil men.

This book is an inspirational read, and each of these four short stories will be turned into full novels at a later stage, as their stories are too exciting and interesting to be limited to a short story.

Join Sidonie, Angelique, Gertrude and Siobhan, all daughters of Eve, and part of the Sisterhood on their individual quests to make their lives and the lives of those women around them to be better by ridding the world of malevolent evil.

Will they all succeed in their destinies? Unity, faith and love are their own weapons against the darkness.

A vividly written and timely polemic tackling the burning injustices shaping British society today.
‘Intelligently written and powerfully argued.’ Paul Mason
‘Witty, scathing, and entertaining.’ Danny Dorling
Journalist Sam Bright is a Northerner living in London. He is just one of the millions of people clinging on to the coattails of the capital, sucked in by the prospect of opportunities that the rest of the United Kingdom does not enjoy.
Our capital is a vast melting pot of languages, cultures, and ideas, and rightly celebrated for it. For many, though, there is no other option. The only place to access the opportunities this country offers is London. Banking, law, politics, advertising, architecture, the arts and the media are all concentrated here. It is almost impossible to reach the heights of any profession without joining the grey hoards queuing for the next tube. As the economic, political, and cultural epicentre of the country, Fortress London acts more like a renaissance city-state like Florence or Venice than the capital of a modern nation-state. And the gluttony of London, compared to the malnourishment of our regions, dramatically affects life chances in Britain.
Fortress London argues that to address Britain’s manifold problems, we need first to end the hegemony of its capital. Enriched by a vast array of interviews and statistics, it will examine how our individual destinies, from childhood to death, are determined by the disproportionate power of London. It will explain why regional inequality has fallen off the Left’s radar, even as the Right pays lip service to it, and it will draw on international comparisons to show where we have gone wrong and, crucially, how we can fix it.
Sam Bright’s clear-eyed intervention will convince you that regional inequality is the problem — and that now is the time for change.
Featuring exclusive interviews with: Andy Burnham, Lisa Nandy, Steve Rotheram, Aditya Chakrabortty, David Blunkett, Jess Phillips, Andrew Adonis and more…
In Fortress London, Sam Bright masterfully delves into the science of social disparity and the geography of opportunity, painting a vivid picture of a city that is both a beacon of hope and a fortress of inequality. The book is a top pick for anyone interested in public affairs, policy planning, and the human cost of regional inequality.

Love Our Cities operates from a simple idea: come alongside those who want to make a difference in their cities so they can come alongside individuals in their communities to make things better. Founding members of the nonprofit organization Love Our Cities, Jeff Pishney and Eric Jung have seen how a city-wide volunteer day can catalyze community improvement—by engaging individuals with the city they inhabit. Each chapter of Love Our Cities addresses their method behind the madness, why it works, and the practical next steps that anyone can use to kick off city-wide volunteer efforts. Jeff Pishney and Eric Jung understand that the best way to support a community is to meet the specific needs of that area. By using their past experiences investing in Modesto and other cities, they provide a clear, actionable approach to enact city-wide change. Their volunteer days have been uniquely successful in connecting ongoing initiatives, building networks, and growing community buy-in for programs and organizations already on the ground. Their message in Love Our Cities is broken into four parts: Part One depicts their journey from the initial Love Modesto efforts in 2009 to the 100-some cities participating in their Love Our Cities network in 2020 Part Two explains at the elements that are necessary to know prior to any community engagement, in order to create a solid foundation for long-term success Part Three examines the "nuts and bolts" of running a city-wide volunteer day Part Four takes it to the next level—describing how successful city-wide volunteer days have changed the game and outlining what a year-round city movement might look like By shining a spotlight on the cities they've partnered with over the years, Jeff Pishney and Eric Jung hope that their community-minded approach in Love Our Cities encourages readers to dream about their own city's potential—and how they can make a difference.

"The new man will be a mystic, a poet, a scientist, all together. He will not look at life through old rotten divisions. He will be a mystic, because he will feel the presence of god. He will be a poet, because he will celebrate the presence of god. And he will be a scientist, because he will search into this presence through scientific methodology. When a man is all these three together, the man is whole."

Osho, or Bhagwan has been described by the Sunday Times in London as one of the "1000 Makers of the 20th Century". American author Tom Robbins says he is "the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ", while the Sunday Mid-Day has selected Osho as one of ten people along with Gandhi, Nehru and Buddha who have changed the destiny of India. How can one human be dangerous and at the same time change-making? And if he is, then what could possibly be the impact of his presence?
