In the serene surroundings of Caesarea Philippi, nestled amid the rugged landscapes of northern Israel, Jesus and his disciples embarked on a journey that would lead them to a moment of profound revelation and truth.
As they walked along the dusty roads, Jesus turned to his disciples and asked them a question that would echo through the ages.
"Who do people say that I am?" he inquired, his eyes searching the faces of his closest followers.
The disciples exchanged glances, pondering the question carefully. They had heard many rumors and speculations about Jesus from the crowds that followed him - some believed him to be a prophet, others thought he was a great teacher or a revolutionary leader.
Finally, one of the disciples spoke up, his voice hesitant but earnest. "Some say you are John the Baptist, returned from the dead," he said. "Others say you are Elijah, or Jeremiah, or one of the prophets."

“This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.”
Out the Closet and Off the Cross is a bold, faith-rooted journey that challenges long-held religious narratives about the LGBTQIA+ community. Written by a Black lesbian woman raised in the church, this powerful audiobook confronts misinterpreted scriptures, spiritual rejection, and the emotional weight of being told that your identity and your salvation are incompatible. With scripture-based truth, personal testimony, and theological insight, this work exposes the gospel that religion has often refused to preach—the gospel of love, truth, and radical acceptance.
Whether you’ve wrestled with your faith, been silenced by religious tradition, or are simply ready to hear God’s heart beyond the noise, this audiobook is a raw and redemptive reminder: You can be LGBTQIA+ and still be called, chosen, and loved by God.

    Does Your Faith Seem Stuck?

Do you ever feel like you're not growing in your faith the way you're supposed to? It turns out, there are forces working against you—threats to your faith—trying to keep you from flourishing in your relationship with God.

One of Jesus' parables—in fact, the one that gets the most space on God's sacred pages—deals with this very issue. It's the story about the sower, the seed, and the soil (Matthew 13). Just as a farmer doesn't toss seed on the ground to get rid of it, God never brings you into contact with his Word for no reason. A farmer wants fruit, and God wants to help you experience more joy, peace, love, etc.

This book is structured around the six threats Jesus lists in the parable of the sower and the seed—pride, pain, worries, wealth, wants, and not waiting—and the corresponding strategies to overcome them. If you're wondering why your faith isn't working in some aspects of your life, the message of this book may be what you've been looking for.
