Sinopsis

She's out for justice. But the arsonist she's tracking is out for retribution.

Now the fire marshal of Lake City, Jesslyn McCormick is determined to find the person who started the fire that robbed her of her family when she was just seven years old. As the twentieth anniversary of the tragedy approaches, a string of fires--including at Jesslyn's church--brings up all those old feelings and offers new evidence.

Because church fires are considered a hate crime, FBI Special Agent Nathan Carlisle is called in to work with local law enforcement. Nathan has his own past--one he'd prefer not to revisit. And focusing on helping Jesslyn track down the arsonist is a great distraction.

As both the case and the chemistry between Jesslyn and Nathan heat up, memories will come flooding in from the past to bump up against hopes for the future. And when Jesslyn comes face-to-face with her worst nightmare, she'll have to confront her fears and rely on Nathan and her community of friends in order to survive.

When your husband struggles with pornography, your world is shattered. There are so many resources to help him, but what about you? Where can you go with your grief, insecurities, fear, and even anger? Jenny Solomon comes alongside hurting wives and gently encourages them to bring their pain to God, who is able to reclaim their marriage. She will help you to rest in God’s love, while at the same time taking one brave step at a time to care for your family and yourself. Jenny understands that when the heavy burden of sorrow weighs down your soul, it is helpful to lean hard on a few solid truths about who God is and how he is calling you to respond. One of the most important is that although you may feel lonely right now, you are not alone. In Reclaim Your Marriage: Grace for Wives Who Have Been Hurt by Pornography, you will learn how to draw close to the Lord as you address your own sorrows, questions, and temptations. The author will encourage you to find a Christian community where you can seek a listening ear and find close friends who will come alongside you and pray for you in this battle. Jenny not only knows the struggle you are facing but has experienced the power of the gospel to bring healing. Fighting pornography is not something a couple can handle alone. This audiobook and the companion resource for husbands written by Jenny’s husband Curtis Solomon, Redeem Your Marriage: Hope for Husbands Who Hurt with Pornography, can be used to bring hope and grace into a seemingly impossible situation. These resources can be used in the context of mentoring, counseling, or accountability relationships to give biblical direction and hope in the midst of a difficult struggle.

Hopelessness is everywhere. It doesn't discriminate. It's a form of spiritual poverty lurking in remote villages, destitute refugee camps, suburban homes, and corner offices. The sheer magnitude of the needs we see can paralyze us, harden our hearts, and tempt us to choose indifference.

But when we lose hope, we surrender both our earthly influence and our spiritual inheritance. With rich biblical teaching and remarkable stories, Heath Adamson invites you to exchange what is with what could be. The hope he writes of isn't wishful thinking. It's a biblical, transformative, future-focused force that breaks through our circumstances, and makes it possible for us to work alongside God to affect meaningful change.

If you have been discouraged or overwhelmed, you are not alone. By seeing beyond your life, you will discover how true hope can change your mindset and reignite your passion to serve others.

    Revolutionary Thoughts on Marriage

Marriage is the first institution that God created. For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). Professor Z.T. Fomum has taught extensively on marriage, not only in special seminars on marriage but also on various occasions during his many trips in the Lord's service, in prayer nights, etc. In his own life, he has given a living example of marriage as it should be lived, viewed from God's perspective.
It was a constant burden for him that marriages should be godly and conform to God's will. He also knew that stable homes would bring stability in the local church and have a strong influence on the children for God and His service.
This audiobook is a compilation of some striking thoughts gathered from various encounters with Professor Fomum, during prayer or teaching meetings. He speaks as one backed by a rich personal experience, considering his knowledge of what God requires for marriage and his caring counselling of the married.
