Sinopse

Christian led a normal, happy life as a teenager -- he was a good student, good at sports, polite, and considerably popular. He would never dream that one day his life would be turned upside down when he's in a car accident that kills his parents. The traumatic event not only took his family away, but also his voice and the person he had once been.
In shock, Christian doesn't know how to deal with his new life and all the newfound anger and resentment he holds inside, and no one seems caring and empathetic enough to want to reach out a hand and help him heal. Except for one person.
Gabriel would end up being a light at the end of the tunnel, but as the two get closer, he disappears, leaving Christian alone once more.
Years later, now adults, the two reunite, but Christian thinks Gabriel doesn't recognize him. However, even if the desire for a mutual reconnection exists and Gabriel seems to not care about his disability, Christian struggles with doubt and low self-esteem. Does Gabriel remember him? Can Christian overcome his uncertainty so they can find companionship?

Daniel Erickson stormed out of his family celebration after choking on turkey served with a side of bigotry. Utterly miserable, he reluctantly lets himself be charmed by the hulk of a man and gets into the stranger's car ... hoping he won't be axed before the night is through.

Axel Wilson -- Ax for short, unfortunately -- is a sweetheart. Really. He may be badass-looking but his heart melts into goo at the mere mention of his four-year-old niece. Surely he isn't dangerous?

Thrown together by family drama, the two men spend the evening getting to know each other. Axel is nothing like Daniel expected. But it doesn't matter that he loves poetry, is gentle and patient -- and hot! -- Daniel is absolutely not falling in love at first sight. There's no such thing.

Jaime is the fourth son of the Prince of the Heighlands. Always an outsider in his family, Jaime seems unable to ever please his father, no matter how he tries. He longs to be a fighter, a hunter, anything other than the role his father has mapped out for him: future steward to his oldest brother.
But Jaime's set path in life is overturned when the consequences of an indiscretion on his part prove to be the final straw for his father. Infuriated, Prince Halden sends Jaime away from the Heighlands, the only home Jaime has ever known, to serve at the court of the powerful and despised king of Leilani. Alone in a much more sophisticated society than he is used to, Jaime must maneuver to find his way ... and struggle to understand his feelings about the handsome King Alder of Leilani, to whom he has sworn fealty.
Alder has much on his mind. Fighting a war he can't end and can't afford to lose, his widowed state is of far less import. Nonetheless, his Councilors are demanding he choose a Companion -- a man to please his bed -- as is expected of a widowed Leilani king with heirs. It is a choice he is in no hurry to make. The war and losses on the battlefield are of far greater concern, and the arrival of a disgraced prince from the least loyal part of his kingdom is a minor and unwanted distraction.
Until Jaime walks into his court. For the first time in his life, Alder feels a genuine surge of lust for a man. But it's a hopeless attraction. No Heighlander would admit to wanting another man, ever.
Jaime wants to fight in the war. Alder wants to make love to him. Can they both possibly get what they want?

Claudius's family, the Calherns, already have a reputation as the more generous of the noble families in Rubifeld, but Claudius wants an even stronger legacy. He finds his opportunity begging in one of the properties the Calherns own: Simon, a young disabled artist. As Claudius learns more about Simon, his affection for the artist grows. He doesn't simply want Simon around to boost his family's reputation anymore; he wants to see Simon happy and taken care of, whether that involves treating him to a day of shopping or simply providing him with ample paint and pencils and sketchbooks. Then one day Claudius finds something unexpected drawn in one of Simon's sketchbooks, and he fears it could put Simon's new position in jeopardy. Does he dare question Simon about the drawings, or will he forget it all for the sake of keeping Simon around?
