Summary

A year after being devastated by a divorce she didn't want and on the eve of her 50th birthday, Evelyn Flannery signs a deed and becomes the owner of a lakeside inn that overlooks Chautauqua Lake in the small town of Cider Cove, New York. Turnkey for business, surrounded by lilac bushes, and lush with apple orchards and grape vines, it's the perfect place to start over. The realtor gives Evelyn an enchanted stone in the shape of a heart, guaranteed to bring her luck and love.
Sparks fly when she meets Oscar, the caretaker of the inn. Their attraction deepens when he brings her two Siberian Husky puppies found running loose on the property during a spring storm.
The enchantment seems to be working perfectly, until the one person who could ruin everything rents a room.
