Sinopsis

From the city to the backwoods. 
 
A simple manhunt takes a complicated turn when Kenna and Ramon wind up in the bayou facing a dangerous family. The hunt follows them back to New Orleans, where things go from bad to worse the night a group of gunmen tear up a hospital trying to get to a newborn baby.  
Pulled in different directions, Kenna is just trying to make sense of the threads of this case. Even with Ramon’s help, it won’t be easy to solve this one. 
 
From death to life. 
 
Forced to confront a part of her childhood she’s buried, Kenna repays a debt she’s owed for a long time. But that doesn’t stop the threat. Even with the family matriarch in jail, the case isn’t over. Innocents are at risk and it’s only a matter of time before safety becomes an illusion.  
Pushed to the end of her strength, Kenna realizes how much she has even when she’s got nothing left. 
 
Her brand of justice isn’t alone anymore.
