ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK 
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare, follows the story of Cordelia Carstairs, a Shadowhunter who travels to London with her brother, Alastair. There, they reconnect with childhood friends and must face a series of devastating demon attacks in a city that has been quarantined. As the group investigates the source of the demonic activity, they discover that the threat is much more complex than they imagined. They uncover a plot that involves a Prince of Hell and a secret plan to attack the Clave. The story is filled with themes of betrayal, political intrigue, and the characters’ struggle with their personal feelings while facing a looming war.
