    Mars the Warning
    Book 5 of 6 – the final exodus
    This fifth story in the series I have written is summarized below;
    As Martian forces systematically dismantle human settlements, Dr. Lin Mei oversees the desperate evacuation of Outpost Alpha. Crystalline warriors disable terraforming equipment while permitting escape, their precision strikes demonstrating superior technology and restraint. General Drake, humbled by defeat, ensures military personnel evacuate last. When Martian forces surround Olympus Outpost, they broadcast haunting images of Mars' pre-human beauty before liquefying its foundations—not with violence, but with the inevitability of a planet reclaiming itself. Aboard the final transport Ares, Lin watches Mars recede, its surface now glittering with emerging alien cities. The Martians transmit a final message: "Leave and do not return," offering mercy but no forgiveness. As 342 survivors journey toward Earth, Lin clutches data proving Martian sentience, determined to prevent future colonization attempts. The exodus becomes a turning point—not just retreat from Mars, but the collapse of humanity's colonial mindset. The red planet fades to a warning light in the viewport, its lesson clear: the universe is not humanity's to conquer.
    I do hope you enjoy this fifth instalment, and its only $3.
    The initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 plus minutes sets the scene, so to speak, this is heavy metal first but give it a chance and you will be surprised (I felt the martian beings would be extremely angry) ends with a warning sound music track like an alarm, 1 minutes plus.
    The book itself runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
    I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!

    Exiled, cursed, abandoned—these were the familiar companions of Ryu Suzuki. For years, he had roamed the unforgiving Outlands, relying solely on his Katana to ward off danger. Known as Kuroi Kage, the Black Shadow, he was a phantom Omega, an outcast from his pack, condemned to the treacherous abyss where any sign of vulnerability spelled doom.
    Ryu had grown accustomed to this solitary existence, finding solace in his isolation. But everything changed when a devastating disease began to sweep through the land, threatening the lives of those he held dear. Reluctantly, he had no choice but to return to his long-abandoned pack, the Silvercrest Howlers, where he would once again come face-to-face with the very Alpha who had cast him out, the one they called the White Lotus: Micah McCorbyn.
    Micah, his betrayer, and, shockingly, his destined mate.
    Cold, calculating, and formidable, every aspect of Ryu's life was under Micah's strict control. Ryu's hatred for Micah burned as fiercely as the sun.
    As fate would have it, the pack's laws demanded that Ryu assume the role of Micah's second-in-command, despite his burning desire to defy him. With the pack embroiled in a raging war and the deadly disease spreading rapidly, time was running out. Reluctantly, the White Lotus and the Black Shadow found themselves at a crossroads, faced with the unthinkable choice of forging an uneasy truce and venturing into the depths of darkness together, all for the sake of survival. Will they be able to overcome their differences and save their pack, or will their past grudges tear them apart?
    Warning: This a dark MM romance, futuristic with some historical elements, MM enemies-to-lovers romance that includes, rejected mate, violence, gore, MM werewolf shifter, mm paranormal romance, mm urban fantasy, mm possessive romance, mm second chance romance with an HFN ending.

    A Bird, A Girl, and a Rescue is the second audiobook in the fictional series, The Rwendigo Tales. Designed for eight- to fourteen-year-old youth, this adventure novel is written for children and teens who love reading and learning about faraway and different parts of the world, while relating to characters and issues that seem much closer to home. Eleven-year-old Kiisa has no idea why her parents would send her away to boarding school. She wonders why they can’t all stay together in their beautiful African valley home. But no matter what she says, they are firm: she must go, and she must go to this school. As she says a tearful goodbye to her father, he whispers, “For such a time as this. . . . Remember that phrase, and try to open your trunk soon. You’ll find something unexpected inside.” When Kiisa opens the trunk, she is astonished to find a small heap of black-and-white feathers that quickly unfold into a little bird, a wagtail to be exact. Her surprise only deepens when the bird starts to speak, ”My name is Njili. I am one of the messengers, though a small one. I have been sent to assist you with the Rescue.” Kiisa has no idea what she means, but she will soon find out. Join Kiisa on the adventure of a lifetime—a dangerous rescue mission that includes rebels, stolen girls, illegal logging, a hungry cobra, and more messengers who help in unexpected ways. Kiisa sets out to rescue others but finds herself rescued from fear and bitterness as she learns that bravery is nothing more (or less) than being in the right place at the right time and taking action despite her fears. This audiobook is an adventure that children, young adults, and even full-grown adults will not be able to put down. A Bird, a Girl, and a Rescue creatively and convincingly explores universal themes such as family, forgiveness, bullying, and courage by blending magical realism and compelling storytelling. Written by a long-time medical missionary to Africa, it draws first-world readers into another (equally real) world—where young girls are captured by rebel soldiers, terrorism is a way of life, and environmental resources are exploited without a second thought. As Myhre’s characters deal with these real-life issues in the news, readers of all ages will gain a deeper interest in global human concerns.
