Sinopse

With Jude dead, there’s another opening on the council of guardians and they want Liam to round out the twelve. 
But Liam still isn’t convinced that the guardians have Isa’s best interest at heart and not only that, Isa doesn’t want him as a guardian and he doesn’t want to do anything that would anger her. 
In the end Pierre convinces him that Isa’s very life is on the line if he doesn’t join. 
He agrees and then discovers that the ceremony to become a guardian kills more dragons than it passes. 
Will Liam survive?
