Sinopsis

When Tim Whittaker's best friend Jake Thorn announces he's getting married to his girlfriend Jenna Riley, Tim tells him he's making a mistake. Tim, who's been in love with Jake for years, wants his best friend to be with him instead.

While Tim and Jake deal with their issues, Jake's older brother Caleb is dealing with issues of his own as he enters into a secret relationship with Jenna's newly-divorced father David, who wants to keep his homosexuality hidden from his daughter.

Thorns in My Side explores the secrets, lies, and love between brothers who grapple with friends, lovers, and each other while trying to keep their lives, and the lives of those around them, from spinning out of control.

College graduates Renzo Herrera and Mario Daza have been a couple for two years when they decide to spend Christmas in Puerto Rico where Renzo's family is from. At first, Renzo is worried about losing Mario because of a religious vow Renzo made as a teen. As a demisexual virgin, he wants to wait until marriage to have sex. Mario is his first love and the only one he would ever be intimate with, so it's a big deal to him.

Mario already has experience and doesn't feel the need to wait until marriage, but he also isn't religious. Renzo isn't against it for others since he doesn't judge anyone by their differences. It's just a personal choice that turned into a vow he refuses to break.

Being tied to a vow doesn't mean it comes without challenges, though. After all, what's supposed to be a fun Christmas vacation ends up feeling more like a marital test. Renzo and Mario must work out their sexual frustrations and find a way to compromise until marriage. For Renzo, it feels like choosing to be nice instead of naughty, so to speak.

Will their love for one another stay powerful enough for them to abstain from going all the way? Or are they just not be as compatible as they think?

America, 1887. In a country healing from the horrors of the Civil War, the American West has never been more treacherous. Evil men do as they please, and the often faulty and corrupt justice system does little to nothing to help their victims.

Enter the Railwalkers. Bandits whose only goal is to punish those whom the law has allowed to walk free. Some think they're an urban legend, meant to scare would-be criminals into submission. Some see them as no different than the murderers they kill, while to others, they are angels of mercy. To Violet Donovan, they are family.

Growing up as the sole heiress to the sizable Donovan estate, Violet's place of privilege allowed her wild spirit to flourish. Despite the pressures of her sex -- find a husband, stay pretty, have children, be subservient, don't speak out of line -- Violet is passionate, loud, stubborn, and untamed. However, at the ripe, marriageable age of twenty, Violet faces the fact that she may have to give in to her mother's wishes and marry mean, ugly Eustace Carpenter, the only other family name in their little town with comparable worth.

But Violet's life changes forever when she is saved from an attacker by a strange woman. A woman who, like Violet, doesn't exactly fit the mold. Unfortunately Violet gets mixed up in a murder charge and has to leave everything she knows for a life on the run from the law. Through divine intervention, she and the woman cross paths again, and Violet comes to know her and her comrades.

They are Mei Wong, Linus Cooper, Sitting Bear, and Rory McNab. The infamous Railwalker gang.

Can the two spies keep the family safe? Will the doctor's two precocious children sabotage the whole assignment?

A love story for the ages! An intimate confession! An epic quest! And happily ever after on the horizon ...

Jason Mirelli loves Colby Kent. And Colby loves him. They've told the world. And Colby's recovered from injury, so they're back at work and back on set. Jason just might have everything he's ever dreamed of, with a serious leading role, an epic love story, and Colby safe and happy in his arms -- but they only have two weeks of filming to go. He's afraid of the dream falling apart, and he knows Colby has a secret to confess -- one that could transform both the ending of their movie and their future together.

Colby never got around to telling Jason his final secret before his accident on set. Now that he's recovered, he plans to -- he wants to share his writing and his silent script doctor work with the man he loves. Besides, he's rewritten this script to give their characters a proper happy ending. But he's nervous about making changes to a classic novel, and he wants the author's approval.

Colby's hoping to seek out the famously reclusive author in question, but first he'll need to trust Jason with this last piece of himself. If he can, he and Jason might finally find their happily-ever-after both on screen and off -- for their characters and for themselves.
