  Sheikh Khalifa Al Tunaiji was born in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He received his Quranic education at the City Center of Quran under the guidance of Sheikh Ghulam Hussain when he was just thirteen years old. Known for his distinctive and powerful voice in Quranic recitation, Sheikh Khalifa also pursued further studies in Madinah with Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Akhdar, a renowned reader at the Masjid An-Nabawi. 
  In 2001, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the United Arab Emirates.
