Summary

Female muscle and strength fans, your book has arrived! The twenty-one women featured in this book will amaze you. Read a brief biography of each lady, see pictures and discover links to further your interest. Some of the links are for websites but most of our links are to youtube videos that you can watch. Take a look at the women in action and being interviewed. This book concludes with three strong 'women next door' who are very physically powerful, quite beautiful and they know how to take charge!
Some of the featured Strongwomen are from the turn-of-the-century Circus Era. From about 1880 to the 1920's people all over Europe and North American flocked to the circus and to various carnivals to see people do amazing and unusual things. One of the top attractions was seeing a woman lift men, outlift men, carry multiple people or bend iron bars. As soon as fans thought they had seen it all, the women would come up with something new.  Strongwoman Trapeze Shows and ripping a phone book in half was just the beginning for these amazing performers. These women also regularly defeated men at wrestling and would outlift male Strongmen of the era. These females understood how sexy it is for a woman to be strong.
Then we take a look at more modern Strongwomen. Some of these women gained their notoriety through Powerlifting while others began performing at the "World's Strongest Woman" contest. We also feature women who have displayed their strength in the world of professional wrestling.
If you like strong, beautiful, muscular women, then this book is for you! It isn't a large, in-depth almanac, but instead it's a great starting point to get you acquainted with the world of Strongwomen.  This ebook is a fun way to greatly expand your understanding of 'Girl-Power'! Another twenty-one women will be profiled soon in our next part. There are plenty of ladies to choose from!
At the end of this book there are three fascinating profiles. These come from my other books. In my other books I take a look at Physical Female Dominance. If you like these profiles then look up Ken Phillips ebooks and order more. In these profiles you will meet Chana, Kate and Annette. Chana is a mother of two twenty-somethings and she shows her husband and son who's boss. How does it feel when mom beats you at arm wrestling? Find out here. Readers are also introduced to our 6' 2 ½ " 190-205lb Amazon Kate. Like all big, strong women, she had a choice of whether to embrace her size and strength or to hide it. As you'll see and read, she has embraced it. This is one very Dominant-sexy lady! Annette is our last lady and she also has a grown son. Her grown son, however, is very strong as is Annette's husband. But have you ever known guys who short-change their leg workouts? You'll get to hear about how it feels for two big, strong men to be humbled in the gym. Annette shows her husband and her son that women are not the weaker gender.
If you like strong women then you'll love this book and all of my ebooks!

Sightlines (abridged). Written and read by Simon Inglis. Simon Inglis was a sports fan with a mission. Fed up with being labelled an ‘anorak’, yet repeatedly led astray by the glimpse of a grandstand across a crowded city, in the late 1990s he travelled the world in search of some deeper meaning behind his fascination. What is it, he asked, about men and neatly-edged turf, and about Irish priests and hurling? Why are two cricket grounds in Mumbai so close together? Why do freeloaders revere Chicago’s Wrigleyville, and what can we learn about crowd management and bladder control from the bullfights in Pamplona? Full of insight, wit and questionable accents, Sightlines conjurEs up spectacles and chaos, colour and intrigue, from a time before the digital age and corporate control forever changed live sport and the stadium experience.

In 1942, the United States Golf Association (USGA) cancelled its four golf tournaments for the duration of World War II. But then it did something different in only that year—it sponsored the Hale-America National Open on the same weekend as the cancelled US Open. The great Ben Hogan won that tournament and went to his grave believing he had therefore won a record five US Open titles. In The Open Question, Peter May turns his attention to this controversial, colorful Hale-America National Open of 1942. While providing an in-depth look at the tournament itself, May champions Hogan's claim to five US Open titles and debunks some questionable assertions that the tournament was not worthy of a US Open. Set against the backdrop of World War II, May also tells the stories of other professional golfers in the tournament and the impact of the war on all their lives. The USGA has never recognized the Hale-America Tournament as an official US Open and remains firm in its stance. It was a decision that bothered Ben Hogan for the rest of his life. The Open Question shows how dominant Ben Hogan was against some of the biggest names in golf, and reveals why he deserves to be recognized as a five-time US Open winner.

"A thrilling, coming-of-age journey that will make you yearn to go on your own adventures.” - RUNNER'S WORLD
Anna was never anything like those ‘real’ runners on telly – all spindly limbs, tiny shorts and split times – but when she read about New Zealand’s 3,000-kilometre-long Te Araroa Trail, she began to wonder… perhaps being a ‘real’ runner was overrated. Maybe she could just run it anyway?
Travelling alone through New Zealand’s backcountry for 148 days, she scrambled through forests, along ridge-lines, over mountain passes, along beaches and across swollen rivers. Running up to 52 kilometres in a day, she slept wild most nights, and was taken into the homes and hearts of the kiwi people in between.
The Pants of Perspective is a witty, colourful and at times painfully raw account of a journey to the edge of what a woman believes herself to be capable of. It is a coming-of-age story which will lead you on a roller coaster ride through fear, vulnerability, courage and failure.
For anyone who has ever dreamt of taking on a great challenge, but felt too afraid to begin – this story is for you.

A collection of 20 rides featuring all of London's must-visit attractions. 'London is one of the world's most celebrated cities, and there's no better way to see some of the best the city has to offer than by bike. Cycle London has 20 unique routes designed to help you make the most out of this iconic city. Each ride is built around a theme, whether it's the best art galleries to see some incredible works, great markets to treat yourself to some eclectic purchases, routes that include some of the tastiest food, or rides covering many of the city's most famous and picturesque parks. There's even a ride that will take someone who only has 12 hours in the city to all the iconic attractions you will have seen in films and books. Every ride comes with a map to help you get your bearings, as well as links to detailed maps that can be downloaded to smartphones to make sure you know exactly where you're going when on the move. The routes can be adapted to suit your requirements, so if you're a keen culture vulture who wants to take in a good sample of some of the best museums in a day you can, but if you just fancy visiting just two you can pick up the route wherever you fancy. There are shorter rides for those who want to spend more time seeing the sites from the inside than the outside, as well as longer rides that mean the majority of your day will be spent taking in the city from a two-wheeled perspective. Also included are interesting asides, insider tips from the locals, and stories designed to help you make the most of your visit, as well as practical advice on what to expect from cycling on London's famous streets.
