JUPITER RISING – THE CELESTIAL CHRONICLES Book 3 of 6 The Nebula's Trial This story is summarized as follows: In The Nebula's Trial, Captain Minerva Voss leads her crew into the Horsehead Nebula, following clues from the centaur Chiron to uncover an ancient secret. They discover a cosmic junction linking Jupiter to the nebula, where the Abyssal—Europa's deep-sea civilization—reveal the truth: Jupiter's storms contain Arion, a centaur-like energy being guarding Nyx, a sentient black hole imprisoned in Jupiter's core. When the Syndicate attacks with a quantum harpoon to enslave Arion, Minerva psychically bonds with the guardian, witnessing its memories—including Earth's role in Nyx's imprisonment. Arion sacrifices itself to destroy the harpoon, transferring its knowledge to Minerva before dying. The Syndicate's cryptic message, "Project Ixion is ready," hints at their plan to free Nyx. As Jupiter's storms intensify, Minerva realizes the true scale of the threat—and her destiny as a guardian of cosmic balance. This is the third of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy this third instalment, and it's only $3. I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 1/2 minutes and prepares you for the start, synthesizer, bass and cymbals in a soul/funk form. The closing music ends the tale on a darker tone and at about 2 minutes and the same instruments, genre and industrial/fearful mood but with more caution added. The story runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice. I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, more to come! Christopher Allen - At your serviceVer libro

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll never eat snails again. So put on your pantaloons, batten down the hatches, and join Shivers on his first (but still very dangerous) adventure. In the tradition of her bestselling, award-winning phenomenon, The Giver, Lois Lowry delivers a story about censorship, comfort, complicity, and the radical power of books to open portals and unlock our humanity through our most powerful tool: the imagination. Twins Tessa and Theo live in a world ruled by the tyrannical Koziris, where there are no dangers and nearly no rebels. In this world, citizens live long lives, and while many hate Koziris, they are comfortable and safe. So, when Tessa's brother disappears, this anomaly is quickly swept under the rug. Soon after, when Tessa's 135-year-old neighbor, Miriam Osterman, is bound for the retirement community, she sneaks Tessa a key—not only to her brother's disappearance, but to the source of all real magic . . . books. As Tessa and her parents begin their search for Theo, Tessa learns that books not only tell us stories—they open portals and unlock our humanity through our most powerful tool: the imagination. Once that truth has been revealed, Tessa won't be able to rest until she has retrieved her twin and society itself has been transformed. Two-time Newbery-winner Lois Lowry has crafted a narrative that feels at once prescient and eternal: in this world, the imagination is the revolution. Not only does Building 92 sit in the same resonant space as The Giver Quartet, but it is also a profound addition to Lois's enduring body of work— and a testament to the strength and value of her voice, vision, and legacy.Ver libro
