Sinopsis

No politician has ever changed anything for the good. With the exception of the ones which were killed. Voting is like buying a ticket for the lottery, but with a guaranteed chance NOT to win.

A wise woman once said, if voting was of any use, it would be declared illegal.

Politicians provoke wars and say dogs are dangerous.

They pretend to fight contamination, but represent it.

By having our food radiated in every airport and most of the train stations etc., they damage it, and with this, our bodies and health. Importing fruits from South Africa, they know we do not even have the enzymes to digest them! Because we would have to live in that country the fruits come from at least half a year to develop the enzymes to be able to digest them.

Plastic rice is sold in India, Korea, Africa, Indonesia and we import that dangerous crap.

The book exposes the politicians and their tricks they use shrinks for to get us all into their traps, over and over again. Every election year people expect the best and get the worst. It is scientifically proven that if you vote for something, you feel yourself responsible for defending your action. So it is definitively better for the politicians if you go and vote.

The book shows why you should not vote! There are better solutions than politicians.

The book is saving lives as well. It is written to help kids and dogs, cats, horses, all the mistreated animals which cross in Mexico and in Spain and in the world my way, with every Dollar earned. When you go with your dog or a rescue to the vet, who do you help? The vet and his kids!

When you buy a toy, bed, food or medicine for animals, you support humans working in the respective industries of production and sales. Every action whatsoever for an animal, is always helping humans; the animals ask you for nothing but love. Who helps you more? Your politician or your faithful dog?

Biden had the brave and kind war heroes abandoned in Afghanistan; all the dogs, which would have had space in the planes leaving the country, were left to be murdered and tortured by the soldiers of the Taliban.

There they were, American war heroes, waiting in their cages because they TRUSTED that inhuman they do not HAVE, would not be possible. They were waiting for their human companions they have been fighting for, offering their lives.

Biden made their own companions traitors to the most innocent and precious we all have got: the love of a dog.

President Abraham Lincoln lifted his hat for a pit bull in a parade, where the dog marched by together with his soldiers, who he had guarded for days until they were found and their wounds treated.

As long as there are not personalities we can trust , we should not vote at all, and prolong the suffering and nurture the illusion we have a "vote", because although the father of the promotion and manipulation of the subconscious who made Coca Cola better known than the President of the United States, Prof.Dr.Ernest Dichter, found out the secret of all - that people buy and buy into what they KNOW -, we can only vote for an image of a person we have never looked into the eyes.

We should trust them with our lives and the faith of our country. Biden pretended to love dogs.

Read the book, do not go to vote and save lives with me! All the best to you all, Lore

From the president of The World Uyghur Congress, a nominee by Canadian and Finish parliamentarians for the Nobel Peace Prize, 2023

Dolkun Isa was declared to be a terrorist by the Chinese Communist Party. His crime? Advocating for basic human, civil and religious freedoms for the people of East Turkestan. The country was taken over by the forces of the Chinese Communist Party in 1949. This was primarily achieved through persuasion as opposed to an armed invasion. What the leaders signed up for and were promised are why seventy years later, the Uygur people have been the subject of international headlines. Why have peaceful peoples been abused, terrorized and systematically used for slave labour and even murdered in camps by the Chinese Communist Party?

In The China Freedom Trap, Dolkun Isa details his experiences working as an Uyghur political figure in the West and the barriers he has faced due to China's growing influence on liberal institutions. He describes his co-founding of the World Uyghur Congress and the ways in which China has attempted to disrupt and discredit Uyghur activism to further its agenda. Through its Transnational repression and significant influence in INTERPOL, China built a false narrative about Mr. Isa's work and life. Declaring him a separatist and terrorist, they convinced the agency to issue an INTERPOL Red Notice. That shadowed Isa for 21 years and almost cost him his life as he narrowly escaped extradition to China. During detention and deportation in democratic countries, Isa also finds himself uncovering corruption and peeling back the layers of the liberal institutions to see China at its rotting core.

This book serves as a historical account of the political activities and behind-the-scenes diplomatic battles between China, the Uyghurs, and other interested or invested countries and institutions; a personal history of Isa’s struggle for the freedom of himself and his people; and ultimately, as a warning to other activists, policymakers, and interested parties: China's power and influence run more profound than most can fathom, they are growing, and they cannot be ignored.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dolkun Isa is the President of the World Uyghur Congress.

He was a student-leader in pro-democracy demonstrations at Xinjiang University in 1988. He founded the Students' Science and Culture Union at the university in 1987, working on programs to eliminate illiteracy, promote science and lead other students in East Turkistan. After enduring persecution from the Chinese government, he fled China in 1994, sought asylum in Europe, and became a German citizen in 2006. He has worked to mobilize the Uyghur diaspora community to collectively advocate for their rights. In 1997, an Interpol Red Notice was issued against him, deleted 21 years later, in 2018.

Dolkun’s organization was nominated for the 2023 Noble Peace Prize, a testament to his dedication to enlightening the world about the plight of his fellow citizens from East Turkestan, better known as Xinjiang province.

Increasing irrigation efficiency has been high on the political agenda in Spain for many years. However, the overarching aim to reduce agricultural water consumption has not been met so far. To explore this phenomenon, Nora Schütze investigates processes of coordination between the water and agricultural sector in three Spanish river basins in the context of the EU Water Framework Directive implementation. From the perspective of polycentric governance, she identifies multiple mechanisms which illustrate how and why actors interact in certain ways, and thus shows why environmental aims of the Water Framework Directive remain unachieved.

It is the conceit of almost every generation to think that it is living in extraordinary times. For my parents' generation, it was the trauma of the Second World War and the miracle of post-war reconstruction. For my older siblings, it was the protest movements of the late 1960s and the triumph of civil rights and women's equality.
In the autumn of 1989, it was difficult not to believe that something monumental was occurring on the global landscape. The stirrings in Eastern Europe were not isolated accidents, but seemed part of a larger process - whose trajectory was still uncertain. As graduate students at the University of Oxford plenty had stood witnesses to these historic events, and when the images of East Germans chipping away at the Berlin Wall flashed across the television screen on November 9, everyone jumped aboard a flight to Berlin with some a few of their classmates to witness, first hand, the deconstruction of an empire.

The internal logic of the Nazi movement and the Third Reich is intertwined with that of Hitler: one cannot be understood without first considering the other.

How did an individual with little education or culture, whose life until the age of 30 had been a series of failures, manage to impose his will on a large modern country before leading it into a military and moral catastrophe unique in history?

The answer to this question begs another: can what happened in Germany happen again?

Liberalism as a Way of Life

Where do you get your values and sensibilities from? If you grew up in a Western democracy, the answer is probably liberalism. Conservatives are right about one thing: liberalism is the ideology of our times, as omnipresent as religion once was. Yet, as Alexandre Lefebvre argues in Liberalism as a Way of Life, many of us are liberal without fully realizing it—or grasping what it means. Misled into thinking that liberalism is confined to politics, we fail to recognize that it's the water we swim in, saturating every area of public and private life, shaping our psychological and spiritual outlooks, and influencing our moral and aesthetic values—our sense of what is right, wrong, good, bad, funny, worthwhile, and more. This eye-opening book shows how so many of us are liberal to the core, why liberalism provides the basis for a good life, and how we can make our lives better and happier by becoming more aware of, and more committed to, the beliefs we already hold.

A lively, engaging, and uplifting guide to living well, the liberal way, Liberalism as a Way of Life is filled with examples from television, movies, stand-up comedy, and social media—from Parks and Recreation and The Good Place to the Borat movies and Hannah Gadsby. Along the way, you'll also learn about seventeen benefits of being a liberal and practical exercises to increase these rewards.
