Sinopsis

Cordelia Corbett and her crew set sail for a vacation along the Eastern Shore. They're looking forward to sandy strolls and seaside sunsets, but after Cordelia hears a frantic cry aboard a yacht, the relaxing retreat turns into a murder investigation.

As secrets bubble to the surface—from illicit affairs to drug trafficking on the high seas—the danger inches closer to home. With local tourism under pressure and multiple culprits with their own motives, Cordelia must balance pursuing the case with growing tension among both suspects and authorities.

As the mystery unravels layer by layer, long-buried truths rise to the surface. But who's the killer, and can Cordelia bring her to justice?

A classic novel of ruthless revenge set in the steel jungle of an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico – and on the sea bed below it.
A sunken DC-3 lying on the Caribbean floor. Its cargo: ten million, two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in gold ingots, emeralds and uncut diamonds guarded by the remains of two men, one woman and a very small boy.
The fortune was there for the taking, and ready to grab it were a blue-blooded oilman with his own offshore rig, a gangster so cold and independent that even the Mafia couldn’t do business with him and a psychopathic hired assassin.
Against them stood one man, and those were his people, those skeletons in their watery coffin. His name was Talbot, and he would bury his dead – but only after he had avenged their murders.
Alistair MacLean's Fear is the Key is a masterclass in mystery fiction, with its international crime plot and technological elements setting it apart from traditional thrillers. Its status as a bestseller is a testament to its top-notch storytelling.
For fans of Frederick Forsyth (Revenge of Odessa), Rory Clements (Evil in High Places), Edward Marston (Murder in Transit), and Eric Ambler (The Schirmer Inheritance).

Adam Askew, a young man in a hurry, always wanted to be financially independent. Armed with guts, determination and a cocky self-assurance, he sets up a shipping company with a view to take on the world, one ton of cargo at a time.
Fed up with the cliquey set-up in Durban, he takes a gutsy gamble, the biggest risk of his life, one that will ultimately make or break him. He heads for the big city lights of swanky 80s Joburg and is soon wining and dining at the Top of the Carlton, sipping the best champagne in London and making some enemies along the way.
Set in the closing decades of the 20th century in sanction-wracked South Africa, Pleasures of the Harbour navigates a world of dodgy business partners, dubious deals and a few failed attempts at love before Adam can finally, and honestly, say he's made it.
Part adventure, part action, and lots of wheeling and dealing means readers are in for a rollicking ride in this highly entertaining novel that traverses the high seas and low roads of Southern Africa, while opening boardroom and a few bedroom doors along the way.
Adam Kethro, the author, saw his school years fly by in Welkom, Brakpan and Durban. After two attempts at matric, a short dip as a stoker on the Railways, and a stint in the army's horse division, he began his career in the shipping industry.
