Sinopsis

"The Copper Box," authored by J. S. Fletcher in the early 20th century, presents a captivating narrative set against the backdrop of the rugged and dramatic Border country in northern England. The story follows Alvery Craye, an unsuspecting traveler whose life takes an unexpected turn when a fierce snowstorm envelops him, forcing him to seek refuge in an enigmatic old house known as Kelpieshaw. 
Upon arrival at Kelpieshaw, Alvery is greeted by an unfriendly housekeeper and soon encounters the captivating Madrasia Durham, whose beauty and charm stand in stark contrast to the gloomy atmosphere of the house. Madrasia’s guardian, the eccentric Mr. Parslewe, adds another layer of intrigue with his peculiar behaviors and cryptic conversations, leaving Alvery both intrigued and unsettled. 
As the warmth of the cozy parlor begins to thaw the chill of his journey, Alvery becomes increasingly aware of the tense dynamics among the inhabitants.
