Sinopsis

In "The Education and Employment of Women," Josephine Elizabeth Grey Butler examines the manifold barriers that have historically hindered women's social and economic participation. Written in a compelling narrative style that combines both empirical research and passionate advocacy, the book articulates the necessity for women's education as a foundation for their autonomy and contributions to society. Contextually situated within the late 19th-century feminist movement, Butler's work reflects a burgeoning awareness of gender disparities and a call to action for reform in educational policies and professional opportunities. Josephine Elizabeth Grey Butler, a prominent suffragist and social reformer, drew upon her own experiences and the broader cultural milieu that questioned women's roles during her time. Her commitment to women's rights, influenced by her involvement in various educational and philanthropic organizations, propelled her to challenge the status quo. Butler's extensive background in social reform and education significantly informs the arguments presented in her book, making her a credible voice in the discourse surrounding women's rights. This book is an essential read for anyone interested in gender studies, social justice, and the historical trajectory of women's rights. Butler's incisive arguments and rich historical context provide an invaluable understanding of the struggles for women's education and the implications for contemporary society. Readers will be inspired by Butler's eloquence and dedication, making it a vital contribution to the discourse on gender equality.

    ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
In Stephenie Meyer's "The Host," Earth has been invaded by a parasitic alien species known as "Souls." These Souls take over human bodies, erasing the host's consciousness and memories. The story follows Wanderer, a Soul inserted into the body of Melanie Stryder. However, Melanie's consciousness refuses to fade, creating a unique internal struggle as Wanderer experiences her host's memories and emotions.
The novel explores the conflict between the Souls' quest for a peaceful utopia and the human resistance fighting for their survival and freedom. As Wanderer becomes more connected to Melanie's memories and the humans she encounters, she is forced to question the Souls' motives and grapple with her own sense of identity. The story delves into themes of love, loyalty, survival, and the nature of humanity in a world where the lines between self and other become increasingly blurred.

Hey there, Big People! We are very glad that our book has found its way to you.
Whether you’re a parent, caretaker, teacher or guardian, we understand the need for guidance in the area of emotions in young children.
It is said that the human brain can only be considered fully-developed by age twenty-five. Everything a child learns before this age will serve as their blueprint for adulthood in future. It is vital, in this day and age, that children become enabled to discuss and explore their emotions, so that those which cause discomfort can be overcome before the child enters the ‘big world’.
Children need to understand that there are no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ emotions. Each emotion felt is equally important for the child’s development.
Unlike adults who have experienced various scenarios throughout their life, and have learned to deal with their feelings, children simply have not been presented with the number of experiences needed to create their own ‘database’ of emotional references. Without these references, forming emotional solutions and conclusions becomes difficult.
Children need to know that emotions are healthy and we all experience them.
A child has the right to feel angry when another child breaks their castle of blocks that took them hours to build; the right to be afraid when they go to the dentist; the right to feel frustrated when something goes wrong and they don’t have answers.
