Sinopsis

Anarcho-Fascism: Nature Reborn deals with a multitude of important current issues, and presents a controversial and constructive starting point for an intellectual discussion on how the West can regain control of its own destiny. The book can rightly be described as a polemical pamphlet, built on solid arguments and full of references to other works, for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the subjects discussed. The author does not shy away from issues that are considered taboo in contemporary society, as these subjects are crucial to future developments.
The title “Anarcho-Fascism” might seem contradictory at first glance, bearing in mind the classical view on anarchism and fascism. Is there really anything that unites these ideologies, and can offer a solution to the problems facing the West? Based on the author's bachelor's thesis in political science, the book goes beyond the strict limits of ideologies and gives alternative answers to many questions. It invites the reader to partake in a discussion of the false perceptions that are influential today, and what the consequences of this will be. It also offers possible solutions to avoid this likely future scenario.

This book contains the following 3 titles:
Book 1: People who are manipulative, often make use of secret tactics to get other people to do what they want. They try to exercise control over their victims by using hidden aggression methods. This is different from regular aggression, because it is typically sneaky and subtle.
In the third chapter of this book, self-help scams are addressed. The self-help industry is a multi-billion-dollar industry that feeds on the gullible wishful thinking of the ones who go to seminars, buy books, overpriced courses, etc.
Among other things, we’ll also discuss topics like the power of influence, especially in the world of the internet; and we will go into what peer pressure does to youngsters and adults.
Book 2: In this book, you will learn more about the culture we live in today. Are we being brainwashed by the media? How is social media affecting us?
And with those two questions in mind, does this mean there are more narcissists today than ever before?
Not only are we going to dive into these specific topics, but we will also talk about real cults. Cults have existed for a long time. Some even see the relationship between cults and actual religions. But why are cults so dark and scary?
Book 3: Psychopaths and sociopaths are everywhere in our society. You may not realize it, but they are out there. Chances are that you know someone who is a sociopath and you don’t even know it.
    How do they compare?
    And are they all dangerous?
Aside from answering these questions, we will also look into other topics that are related to manipulation. For example, we’ll go deeper into how to see if someone is manipulating you, or which sales tactics people use to make you buy something.

Journalist Ian Dunt reveals how leaving the European Union will damage Britain's politics, courts, businesses and consumers.
This fast-paced bestseller strips Britain's biggest issue of the gloss put on it by its cheerleaders and exposes it for what it is: a sham.
It is based on extensive research with experts across the law, trade and politics.
It maps the trade and legal cliff edge that Britain faces unless it secures a transitional deal with the European Union — and explains why the odds are stacked against the UK government in the negotiations and how the World Trade Organisation is not the solution to leaving the EU.

Vandana Shiva has been described in many ways: the “Gandhi of Grain,” “a rock star” in the battle against GMOs, and “the most powerful voice” for people of the developing world. For over four decades, she has vociferously advocated for diversity, indigenous knowledge, localization, and real democracy; she has been at the forefront of seed saving, food sovereignty, and connecting the dots between the destruction of nature, the polarization of societies, and indiscriminate corporate greed. In Terra Viva, Dr. Shiva shares her most memorable campaigns, alongside some of the world’s most celebrated activists and environmentalists, all working toward a livable planet and healthier democracies. For the very first time, she also recounts the stories of her childhood in post-partition India?the influence of the Himalayan forests she roamed; her parents, who saw no difference in the education of boys and girls at a time when this was not the norm; and the Chipko movement, whose women were “the real custodians of biodiversity-related knowledge.” Throughout, Shiva’s pursuit of a unique intellectual path marrying quantum physics with science, technology, and environmental policy will captivate listeners. Terra Viva is a celebration of a remarkable life and a clear-eyed assessment of the challenges we face moving forward?including those revealed by the COVID crisis, the privatization of biotechnology, and the commodification of our biological and natural resources.

“A refreshing and pathbreaking [study] of the roots of Mexican American social movement organizing in Texas with new insights on the struggles of women” (Devon Peña, Professor of American Ethnic Studies, University of Washington).

Historian Cynthia E. Orozco presents a comprehensive study of the League of United Lantin-American Citizens, with an in-depth analysis of its origins. Founded by Mexican American men in 1929, LULAC is often judged harshly according to Chicano nationalist standards of the late 1960s and 1970s. Drawing on extensive archival research, No Mexicans, Women, or Dogs Allowed presents LULAC in light of its early twentieth-century context.

Orozco argues that perceptions of LULAC as an assimilationist, anti-Mexican, anti-working class organization belie the group's early activism. Supplemented by oral history, this sweeping study probes LULAC's predecessors, such as the Order Sons of America, blending historiography and cultural studies. Against a backdrop of the Mexican Revolution, World War I, gender discrimination, and racial segregation, No Mexicans, Women, or Dogs Allowed recasts LULAC at the forefront of civil rights movements in America.

The following two titles are in this guide:
Book 1: What is emotional intelligence? Does it help us make better, more rational decisions?
Can we resist sales tactics and do the math, or do we jump in on emotional trends?
Those are some of the things we will discuss here. Other things that will rise to the surface are things like the mind of a psychopath, sinister tactics governments use to spread propaganda through the news, and how we can detect lies and manipulation faster.
If any of these things sound interesting to you, then I encourage you to start reading or listening to this book.
Book 2: People lie every day. Not everyone, but sadly, many people lie daily. But why? And how do you see what is true and what is not true?
This is where this book can help you. This book goes over the context of deception, the lies you can easily spot, and some interesting facts about people’s personality that will shock you. How a personality adds to the things they say, is, of course, significant. Therefore, we will explore that connection.
There is so much to learn! I hope you will begin reading or listening quickly.

  • The Problem of the Color Line at the Turn of the Twentieth Century - The Essential Early Essays - cover

The Problem of the Color Line at...

    W. E. B. Du Bois

Early essays from the sociologist, displaying the beginnings of his views on politics, society, and Black Americans’ status in the United States.

This volume assembles essential essays?some published only posthumously, others obscure, another only recently translated?by W. E. B. Du Bois from 1894 to early 1906. They show the first formulations of some of his most famous ideas, namely, “the veil,” “double-consciousness,” and the “problem of the color line.” Moreover, the deep historical sense of the formation of the modern world that informs Du Bois’s thought and gave rise to his understanding of “the problem of the color line” is on display here. Indeed, the essays constitute an essential companion to Du Bois’s 1903 masterpiece The Souls of Black Folk.

The collection is based on two editorial principles: presenting the essays in their entirety and in strict chronological order. Copious annotation affords both student and mature scholar an unprecedented grasp of the range and depth of Du Bois’s everyday intellectual and scholarly reference.

These essays commence at the moment of Du Bois’s return to the United States from two years of graduate-level study in Europe at the University of Berlin. At their center is the moment of Du Bois’s first full, self-reflexive formulation of a sense of vocation: as a student and scholar in the pursuit of the human sciences (in their still-nascent disciplinary organization?that is, the institutionalization of a generalized “sociology” or general “ethnology”), as they could be brought to bear on the study of the situation of the so-called Negro question in the United States in all of its multiply refracting dimensions. They close with Du Bois’s realization that the commitments orienting his work and intellectual practice demanded that he move beyond the institutional frames for the practice of the human sciences.

The ideas developed in these early essays remained the fundamental matrix for the ongoing development of Du Bois’s thought. The essays gathered here will therefore serve as the essential reference for those seeking to understand the most profound registers of this major American thinker.

“A seminal contribution to the history of modern thought. Compiled and edited by the world’s preeminent scholar of early Du Boisian thought, these texts represent his most generative period, when Du Bois engaged every discipline, helped construct modern social science, employed critical inquiry as a weapon of antiracism and political liberation, and always set his sites on the entire world. We know this not by the essays alone, but by Nahum Dimitri Chandler’s brilliant, original, and quite riveting introduction. If you are coming to Du Bois for the first time of the 500th time, this book is a must-read.” —Robin D. G. Kelley, author of Freedom Dreams: The Black Radical Imagination
