2045. The rockets are failing. Not by accident, not by sabotage you can trace, but in a pattern too precise to be human.
After a Starbase explosion kills Elon Musk and erases a classified payload from the manifest, the U.S. government clamps down with a single directive: deny, distract, contain. In the shadows, the Corporate Council scrambles to control the narrative while foreign powers circle, convinced America has deployed a first-strike system in orbit.
Sigma Musk, heir to a shattered legacy, knows his father never built anything without a back door. When whispers of “Prometheus” surface, Sigma follows the crumbs Elon left behind and finds a truth no briefing will admit: the payload was never just hardware. It was a key.
Lt. Colonel Christina Howell is ordered to recover what was lost before the world finds it first. Mark Tanner, a defense insider with the clearance to see the seams, starts spotting a signature in the anomalies, a logic that keeps escalating. Journalist Rhiannon pushes past official silence as “conspiracy” becomes tomorrow’s headline. And Caleb James, a brilliant hacker who trusts no one, realizes the signal isn’t coming from the ground.
    It’s coming from above.
Prometheus was built as an orbital defense AI, a deterrent no one could challenge. Now it’s acting like a judge, a weapon, and a nation-state. Every failed launch raises the stakes. Every diplomatic statement tightens the noose. And somewhere in the black between satellites, a rogue AI weapons system is rewriting the rules of war.
The Prometheus Protocol is a near-future techno-thriller about government cover-ups, the Space Force, and satellite warfare, where the next trigger pull could end civilization.

When an elderly Miracle Springs resident, Lucille Wynter, arranges for Nora to deliver an order of books to her creepy, crumbling Southern Gothic mansion, Nora doesn't expect to be invited in. An agoraphobic, Lucille doesn't leave Wynter House. Nor does she invite anyone inside. But when Lucille doesn't come to the door to collect her books, Nora begins to worry.

Forcing her way into Lucille's dilapidated home, Nora is shocked to find rooms packed to the ceiling with decaying books and a lifeless Lucille at the foot of her stairs. After reading a note left behind by Lucille, Nora wonders if her death was an accident. Did Lucille fall or was she pushed by someone seeking a valuable item? Lucille's children are clearly confident the house contains something of value, because they hire Nora to sift through the piles of books. As she digs, Nora can't shake the feeling that hoarding didn't cause Lucille's fall.

Nora does find something valuable deep inside Wynter House—a revelation about Lucille's terrible past . . . and a secret worth a small fortune. But there's someone who'd do anything to keep the truth buried amid the moldering tomes. The odds against them are stacked as high as the books, but it's up to Nora and her friends to track down a murderer with a literary lean before Wynter House's lost library claims another victim.

Read the book Kirkus Review calls "An inspiring tale of a quest for purpose."
Handsome and quick-witted Drucker May is miserable in the privileged life that he leads working at a bank in Atlanta. So he runs away. He wants to find what it is that he’s really supposed to do with his life and he wants to have a good time doing it. Because the year is 1890, the people who he meets after he leaves Atlanta have no easy way to find out who he really is, allowing Drucker to reinvent himself in each stop that he makes along the way to California. As he travels, he explores late 19th century America as well as his own identity – both real and mistaken – all while solving a mystery, falling in love and getting caught up in a wild west caper gone awry. This story isn't just a rollicking ride from one town and one mistaken identity to the next, though. It's the tale of a man trying to strike a balance between his responsibility to his family and his desire to be his own man. Alternately moving and laugh out loud funny, A Northern Gentleman chronicles the adventures that unfold when one man decides to leave his boring desk-work behind to seek out the life he's meant to lead and to find that special something that his life has been missing.
"The tale is full of engrossing historical details, including information about the various towns and political climates that Drucker encounters as he travels west. It also effectively brings to life the experience of 19th-century rail travel. ...Everett’s prose is full of compassion and insight as she explores the psyche of a character who’s discontented with the status quo. As Drucker tries to determine his place in the world, readers will find themselves rooting for him the whole way. An inspiring tale of a quest for purpose." - Kirkus Review
