Hope taught me the meaning of life, Tina taught me the meaning of love.
It's not everyday you meet a golden retriever in Thailand.
When Niall came across a dog shackled to a short chain and in a poor state of health something reminded him of his personal battle with addiction. He knew he had to rescue her immediately – golden retrievers are rare in Thailand – but there was just something about this dog in particular that told him she was destined for more.
He named her Tina, and what she did next is an incredible tale of survival, hope and love. Despite her terrible treatment at the hands of humans, she refused to distrust them or feel sorry for herself, and only opened her heart wider – always with a grin (yes dogs can smile) and a reassuring wag of her shaggy yellow tail.
From the minute Tina was free of her chains, she got on with what needed to be done, inspiring a dog hospital to be built and named after her and helping dogs from all over the world – whether they're street dogs from Thailand or rescue pups in Montana. The movement behind Tina has not stopped.
    This is her story.

In this gripping exploration of power, strategy, and legacy, G-Man unveils the riveting life and career of J. Edgar Hoover—the man who built the FBI from the ground up and held the reins of American law enforcement for nearly half a century. With precision and depth, this audiobook dives into Hoover’s meticulous rise, his obsessive pursuit of order, and the complex, often controversial legacy he left behind.
From combating gangsters and communists to surveilling civil rights leaders and presidents, Hoover shaped the narrative of 20th-century America—one file, one decision, one calculated move at a time. His leadership forged one of the most influential institutions in U.S. history, but it also exposed the dangers of unchecked power and the moral trade-offs that come with sustained control.

Martin Luther was a German theologian, priest, author, composer, and previous Augustinian monk who is best recalled as a key figure in the Protestant Reformation and the creator of Lutheranism.
In the year 1507, Luther was ordained as a priest. He came to oppose certain Roman Catholic Church theories and practices, specifically the perspective on extravagances. In his Ninety-five Theses of 1517, Luther advised a scholastic evaluation of the practice and effectiveness of extravagances. His rejection to disavow all of his publications at the demand of Pope Leo X in the year 1520 and the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V at the Diet Plan of Worms in the year 1521 culminated in the pope's excommunication and the Holy Roman Emperor's condemnation as a hooligan.
Luther preached that redemption and, consequently, immortality aren't won through greats, but are only gotten as a completely free gift of God's grace through a follower's faith in Jesus Christ as sin's redeemer. By preaching that the Bible is the only source of divinely given knowledge, his faith assaulted the pope's power and office, and he battled sacerdotalism by thinking all baptized Christians to be a holy priesthood. Lutherans are the ones who relate to them, and all of Luther's more comprehensive ideas, while Luther demanded Christian or Evangelical as the sole acceptable classifications for anybody who proclaimed Christ.
His translation of the Bible into the German vernacular (instead of Latin) made it more available to the laypersons, a substantial event in both the church and German culture.
This and many other things did Martin Luther do, all of which were key elements of the reformation of the church and the beginning of protestant denominations.

Faith That Fed Thousands: The True Story of George Müller’s Radical Trust in God
What happens when one man decides to rely on prayer alone to meet every need?
Sincere attempts to define George Müller as a preacher, evangelist, or a man who cared for the poor, fail to illustrate why you should read about him.
The man who cared for over 10,000 orphans and established 120 schools is best remembered for the principles by which he lived his life - principles that are now within your reach.
Hear, in Müller’s own words, his early days caught in theft and deceit, his conversion to Christ, his reliance upon the Bible alone as his foundation for truth. Hear of his faith – grown large enough to move mountains.
In this first part, Müller documents those initial mountains down the nearest penny, the thinnest spool of thread, and the last soul hungry for the gospel. All achieved without a salary, nor requesting any donation from anyone.
Now turned into an audiobook, with chapter headings, plus an introduction by author and narrator David G. Allen, this version of A Narration gives readers appropriate resting points, a sense of direction, and greater anticipation of each step in Müller’s journey.
It’s more than an autobiography. It’s a living testimony of what faith can do.
Explore a life whose legacy is sealed in the record books of heaven.

This book is a record of my memories and experiences from a young child until I was thirty-seven years old and met my third husband. In between, I faced challenges, made some questionable choices, suffered the consequences and persevered. I'm still here to talk about it. I felt like it was important to share these stories as I'm sure many people can relate. The stories I've shared include hopelessness, anger and frustration, but also humor, sarcasm and success. I hope to provide encouragement, empathy, and support.

The brutal murders of young Devon and Damon Routier in the early morning hours of June 6, 1996, put their mother—Darlie Routier—at the heart of one of the most notorious murder cases in modern Texas history—despite her own throat having been slashed to within two millimeters of her carotid artery.
The actions of a small-town police department and those within Dallas County's ruthless justice system created a perfect storm that swept up the young mother and landed her on death row. There she has remained, in a nine-feet-by-six-feet cell, despite claims of her innocence by those who know her, findings about the alarming fallibility of bloodstain analysis, and her husband's admission that at the time of the murders he was soliciting help to stage a home burglary to commit insurance fraud.
In Dateline Purgatory, award-winning journalist Kathy Cruz enlists current-day legal experts to weigh in on the shocking transgressions that resulted in one of the country's most controversial death penalty convictions.
With the help of the infamous death row inmate and a former FBI Special Agent known as “Crimefighter,” Cruz would find that her journey through Purgatory was as much about herself as it was about the woman dubbed “Dallas’s Susan Smith.”
