Sinopse

The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come; Delivered under the Similitude of a Dream is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan. Christian, an everyman character, is the protagonist of the allegory, which centres itself in his journey from his hometown, the "City of Destruction" ("this world"), to the "Celestial City" ("that which is to come": Heaven) atop Mt. Zion. Christian is weighed down by a great burden, the knowledge of his sin, which he believed came from his reading "the book in his hand" (the Bible). This burden, which would cause him to sink into Tophet (hell), is so unbearable that Christian must seek deliverance. He meets Evangelist as he is walking out in the fields, who directs him to the "Wicket Gate" for deliverance. Since Christian cannot see the "Wicket Gate" in the distance, Evangelist directs him to go to a "shining light," which Christian thinks he sees. Christian leaves his home, his wife, and children to save himself: he cannot persuade them to accompany him. Obstinate and Pliable go after Christian to bring him back, but Christian refuses. Obstinate returns disgusted, but Pliable is persuaded to go with Christian, hoping to take advantage of the paradise that Christian claims lies at the end of his journey.

A grumpy lion shifter duke with secrets, a sassy human who knows nothing of the shifter world, and a fiery arrangement neither of them expected.
Cormac Donegan, Duke of Everard, is all too familiar with the perils of his shifter world, especially as a Dahlia, one of the dragon king’s elite spies. After a mission nearly costs him his life, Cormac is sidelined, healing and grieving his heavy losses. Then a different kind of trouble shows up on his doorstep: a human claiming to be his fiancé.
When Jason Reaves is nearly killed in a house fire, it becomes clear that someone is trying to murder him. With his already fragile health deteriorating, Jason’s only hope is to call in the debt a stranger owes his father—a favor that promises safety, protection...and marriage.
Jason’s escape leads him and his service dog, Mouse, to an impressive country estate. He’s expecting the older man who’d made the promise, not his ruggedly handsome son—who happens to be a Duke, as in rich and royal.
Will this Cinderfella find his happily ever after in the arms of a dashing—if somewhat irritable—duke? Or will Cormac’s secrets prove to be more dangerous than the shifters hunting him?

Princess Fiona is a political hostage in a gilded cage, a pawn in a game between her tyrannical father and a desperate prince. She lives in a world bleeding out from the Withering, a magical plague her father has learned to weaponize. Her only hope—and the kingdom’s—lies in an ancient prophecy: four lost heirs must unite in a Convergence to heal the land. But within the secret archives of her prison, Fiona uncovers a horrifying truth. The prophecy is a lie.
Across the blighted kingdom, a charismatic rebel leader searches for the other heirs, clinging to the prophecy as a banner of hope. His quest leads him to a broken mercenary with a terrifying, untamed fire burning in her soul, a woman who despises saviors and trusts only steel. They are all pieces of a puzzle they don't understand, hunted by kings and princes who would use them for their own ends. For the prophecy does not call for heroes; it demands a sacrifice. Three heirs are destined to be the fuel, and the fourth, a vessel for a ritual that will not save the world, but break it.
As a terrifying vision reveals the true face of their enemy—a shadowy mastermind orchestrating their doom to achieve godhood—the game is shattered. Alliances fracture, loyalties are betrayed, and empires crumble into chaos. Scattered, hunted, and armed with a devastating truth, the four heirs must now race against time and a looming war to forge their own destiny. They must find an alternative path to salvation before the architect of their ruin claims his throne and their world is plunged into an age of unending darkness.
