Sinopse

In his latest mission, Commander Jeffrey Fuller will go head–to–head against his most dangerous adversary yet – his own allies.Jeffrey Fuller has a new mission – use his cutting–edge submarine Challenger to recover a German spy claiming to have key information about the Berlin–Boer Axis, information that could be crucial to winning the war. Fuller will have to navigate his super–silent sub through some of the most densely patrolled waters in Europe if he hopes to accomplish his mission. But Fuller knows he can't trust the spy, code–named Zeno, an expert in electronic and information warfare. The man could be a double agent sent by the enemy to compromise Challenger. And when they finally recover the mysterious spy, he reveals that only by helping him infiltrate Israel can he hope to prevent an imminent Axis attack. Fuller is caught in a terrible dilemma – if the man is a double agent, he could be dooming Israel, but if he does nothing, the country could fall to the German assault. To go ahead with the plan would pitch Fuller against the best defences of his own allies, placing his crew in danger and possibly shattering bonds between nations. It is a battle that, if fought, Fuller will have to fight entirely on his own.

Harold wanted a better life. He wanted a life that would free him from the shackles of his mundane existence. He wanted freedom, love, and a life that made his soul soar high. But how could he obtain those things?
The surprising solution lay in an antique pen Harold purchased. At first, he thought it would just write down his thoughts, but he soon discovered it had a mind of its own. The pen took over, forcing Harold to write what it wanted, in a beautiful curly script in a language he didn’t understand. Soon he found himself writing—then actually traveling back in time -to completely experience the thousand-year-old story of the Bedouin Al-Hamid Akbar, a man who rose from being a street urchin and a thief to becoming a sultan esteemed by all. Al-Hamid’s life was one filled with excitement, including escape from slavery, facing crocodiles on the Nile, battles with Bedouin tribes, and finding the love of his life. But most importantly, his life provided Harold with solutions to change his own.
Set in 1920s Edinburgh, The Pen is not only a great adventure story, but it a blend of fiction and personal development book. Dennis Galloway takes readers on a journey to discover ancient wisdom that can transfigure our current lives, and we won’t even need to buy a magical pen to make those positive changes happen.

You know you're in deep water when you can't tell cop from criminal.
Rene Beckman is a dishonored ex-cop with only two things on his mind: his new boat, the Triggerfish; and his hot date, an environmentalist named Vicki. When the two unknowingly dock the boat in the same secluded cove as a Mexican cartel's drug submarine, the date ends with a bang. With the cartel's coke-for-guns deal with local bikers torched by Beckman, he's forced to go on the run with half the underworld chasing him through the streets of Vancouver and the waters surrounding it.
While he tries to stay alive, a woman from Beckman's past - currently on the run from CSIS and the antiterror squad - comes back to settle an old score. When the gangs start to go after his friends, the ex-cop stops running and turns the tables. With a ragtag crew of his own, Beckman faces the cartel and bikers head-on.
Fast, vicious, and thrilling, Triggerfish delivers a story where all the criminals are in conflict and no one is certain who will come out on top.
