Summary

With its wireless networks encompassing the globe, the Digital Revolution is altering the very fabric of our lives with alarming rapidity. New technologies are bringing about an ever closer union between human beings and machines, whilst at the same time transforming our planet into an increasingly hybrid 'cyber-physical' world.
The current rollout of fifth generation wireless communication networks, or 5G, is central to the project to create a global 'electronic ecosystem', in which we will be obliged to live. This will provide the basis for an all-pervasive Internet of Things, and the widespread integration of Augmented and Virtual Reality into human experience. But what genuine human needs will this serve? Does the planet really need to be made 'smart'? Will our health, and that of other living creatures, really be unaffected by exposure to escalating levels of electromagnetic radiation?
As we enter a new era of extreme technology, driven by a momentum that seems beyond the constraint of any spiritual or moral consideration, both human beings and nature face an unprecedented challenge. Jeremy Naydler argues that it is a challenge that can only be met through a re-affirmation of essential human values and the recovery of a sacred view of nature. From this grounding, we can work towards a truly human future that, rather than creating yet more pollution and toxicity, will bring blessing to the natural world to which we belong.
'Jeremy Naydler has become, in my judgement, one of the most interesting and original living writers in Britain.' – Professor Bruce G. Charlton, author of Addicted to Distraction

This is a divided and chaotic world. A world torn apart by greed and hatred. By desires that spread around the world like a disease. The stress of modern life pushes us further and further apart from each other and nature.

The simple fact is that we are destroying the planet upon which we rely for sustenance. Our chaotic minds form chaotic societies. Power and wealth are in the hands of the people who should not have them. We subconsciously know that we have screwed things up and yet we proceed to screw things up a little more with each passing generation.

We have forgotten the prime directive of the universe. We ignore its teachings. We fail to listen to its pleas.

The truth that will save you and all of mankind is very simple. It is the Universal Law of Attraction and it is time to listen and learn from it.

In this classic recording, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth person to walk on the moon and the founder of The Institute of Noetic Sciences, explores the nature of consciousness. Dr. Mitchell explains Quantum Science and it’s relationship to the external material world and internal experience. Putting modern times in the broad context of science, history and the precarious state of our environment, Dr. Mitchell echoes the sentiment that “God did not play dice” when he/she created the universe. He then stitches these concepts together into an easy to grasp and entirely accessible presentation that helps us better understand the nature of existence.

How can 160,000 deaths in one day constitute a 'medium-sized operation'? Think beef is killing the world? What about asparagus farms? Or golf? Going vegan might be all the rage, but the fact is the world has an ever-growing, insatiable appetite for meat—especially cheap meat.
Former food critic and chef, now farmer and restaurateur Matthew Evans grapples with the thorny issues around the ways we produce and consume animals. From feedlots and abattoirs to organic farms and animal welfare agencies, he has an intimate, expert understanding of the farming practices that take place in our name. Evans calls for less radicalisation, for greater understanding, and for ethical omnivores to stand up for the welfare of animals and farmers alike.
Sure to spark intense debate, On Eating Meat is an urgent listen for all vegans, vegetarians and carnivores.
