Sinopsis

Narendran is a news reporter-writer who works in a leading daily. He has to travel most of the time for work. The experiences he has gained from all these years is a talent in observing people and finding the hidden stories of their life. On one of his journeys, he meets a middle-aged couple on a train. The story progresses around the intuitions and imaginations formed by Narendran about the life of the wife in the couple. He infers that the coy woman has had a tragic love story in her past, which he reads from her eyes. Is that story true or is it just an intuition? What's her love story? Is Narendran's intuition right? This is the story titled 'Alasa Chinthakal', meaning the Idle, shallow thoughts of a traveller.
