Step into Blackwood Manor, where shadows whisper, and the walls remember.
In Creepy Encounters in Paranormal Realm, author Amulya Mishra takes you through a spine-tingling series of supernatural experiences that blur the line between the living and the dead.
When a family moves into the foreboding Blackwood Manor, they soon realize they are not its only inhabitants. From unexplained footsteps to ghostly apparitions, and the chilling presence of Lily, a spirit bound by tragedy, the story unfolds into a nightmarish struggle for sanity and survival.
Through vivid storytelling and atmospheric detail, Mishra explores the psychological terror that lurks in isolation and the paranormal phenomena that defy explanation. Each chapter peels back another layer of horror—where every creak, whisper, and flicker of light could mean something watching.

I used to question my memories of those events and, at times, speculated on my mental stability. However, such a volume of experiences has assailed me during my journey, that I must conclude their validity. Having developed the insight I now have, I am as like the person who has been hypnotized to remember a crucial forgotten memory. Upon remembering and possessing the new insight, I find myself wondering if I have always possessed it and, through the interactions of life, had merely forgotten it.
All of our perceived reality comes to us through our senses, and these are filtered further by our mental interpretation of that sensory input. From the moment of our birth, we have shaped our perception to select from the Kaleidoscope of colors only those that are perceived as useful to us. Who is to say that much has been ignored? This is why at times, we hear sounds altogether unfamiliar yet possessing an undeniable presence. Sound and touch are senses we little understand, and for this reason, the merciful filters we develop in childhood are not as verbose as with our sight. Yes, we fear the darkness for what it reveals, yet we should just as easily fear the light for what it conceals. At times in the light, I am aware of the terrible beasts that ravage unknown aspects of our being. These terrible and decisive beings have now become my constant companion, and I am ever aware of their continued progress toward me. They seek to coerce me and manipulate me, and it is only with the utmost and continued presence of mind that I am able to resist their attempts at manipulation. As incessant and exhausting as these are, my impossible resolve is ever steadied by the understanding of what will follow if I should give into their ministrations. For you see, I have touched their very spirit, and they mine. This is my story and the story of us all. It is the story of how I came to understand why we all fear the night and have developed false security in the light.

👻 Chef Isabelle "Belle" Beaumont thought she'd bought her dream restaurant—a historic bistro with original brick ovens and antique charm. What the real estate agent failed to mention was the permanent resident: a 1920s gourmet ghost who criticizes her seasoning and rearranges her kitchen tools. Belle learns to coexist with her spectral sous-chef until a food critic dies after eating at her restaurant, poisoned by a dish she swears she never prepared. With her business on the line and the police suspicious, Belle must partner with her ghostly roommate to investigate. Together, they dig into century-old recipes and modern rivalries, uncovering a culinary conspiracy that connects the present murder to a unsolved poisoning from the Roaring Twenties. But when Belle gets too close to the truth, she discovers some recipes are meant to stay secret—permanently.

Peter Storm was sold to the Devil at birth.

As a boy, he ran away from home to escape a satanic father and an uncaring mother -- and ended up begging in the streets of a pitiless city.
After joining a gang of street kids, he rose to be their leader. Peter became a callous criminal, preying on the weak and defenseless, dreaming of bloodshed.
Adopted by a Satanist, he attended his first black sabbath. He was excited by all the occult happenings -- sex orgies and possession by foul rampaging demons. Peter took the name of Sephtis and became a high priest. He carried out blood sacrifices in the name of Satan and spread disorder in the Christian ranks by posing as a youth pastor.
He raped, murdered, and destroyed with no conscience. For his loyalty to the Prince of Darkness outweighed any other cause.

But there was a price to be paid. And when that payment fell due, Peter Storm would face the ultimate horror . . .

A "genuinely scary" horror debut written in "prose so beautiful you won't want to rush" about a boy who transforms into a monster, a monster who tries to be a man, and the people who love him in every form he takes (Ana Reyes)

Grieving mother Magos cuts out a piece of her deceased eleven-year-old son Santiago's lung. Acting on fierce maternal instinct and the dubious logic of an old folktale, she nurtures the lung until it gains sentience, growing into the carnivorous little Monstrilio she keeps hidden within the walls of her family's decaying Mexico City estate. Eventually, Monstrilio begins to resemble the Santiago he once was, but his innate impulses—though curbed by his biological and chosen family's communal care—threaten to destroy this fragile second chance at life.

A thought-provoking meditation on grief, acceptance, and the monstrous sides of love and loyalty, Gerardo Sámano Córdova blends bold imagination and evocative prose with deep emotional rigor. Told in four acts that span the globe from Brooklyn to Berlin, Monstrilio offers, with uncanny clarity, a cathartic and precise portrait of being human.
