Synopsis

Jill was once a rising star in the art world—a painter of rare talent and emotional depth. But too many rejections, too many domestic disappointments, and the slow suffocation of her creative fire have left her empty. She hasn’t picked up a brush in months. Until he arrives. 
Josh is a quiet, enigmatic stranger who appears one snowy evening with an uncanny interest in Jill’s forgotten artwork. His praise is intoxicating, his presence oddly electric—and something about him awakens a dark muse within her. She begins to paint again. Vivid, sensual, haunting portraits of Josh emerge from her hand—images unlike anything she’s ever created before. But with each brushstroke, the line between inspiration and obsession blurs. 
As the paintings grow bolder, her relationships begin to fray. Her longtime partner Brian sees one of them and moves out. Their son Peter has a glimpse of Josh and starts asking difficult questions.
