  Moses Ben Maimon, frequently called Maimonides, was a medieval philosopher who revolutionized thinking about ethics, reason, and the Jewish Torah through his emphasis on reason and evidence.   	Maimonides’ ideas and theological interpretations remain influential in contemporary times.
