Sinopse

Islam faith emphasizes the importance of purifying our bodies since it strengthens our souls, ultimately bringing us closer to the One who is the Creator of all. All Muslims perform ablution (Wudhu) before offering prayer or reciting the The Noble Qur’an. This is a simple yet obligatory practice of washing certain body parts, including one’s hands, feet, arms, mouth, nostrils, ears, and face. Not to mention, while performing Wudhu purifies our body, it also induces great health benefits that positively affect our mental and physical wellbeing.

Wuḍhu is the Islamic procedure for cleansing parts of the body, a type of ritual purification, or ablution. The 4 Fardh (Mandatory) acts of Wudu consists of washing the face, arms, then wiping the head and the feet with water. Wudu is an important part of ritual purity in Islam. It is governed by fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), which specifies rules concerning hygiene and defines the rituals that constitute it. It is typically performed before prayers (salah or salat).

An in-depth spiritual journey through the truths and traumas of one's past to a rebirth and renewal of personal wholeness.

To the ancients, the goddess Hekate symbolized the inner journey back to the soul.

Indeed, ancient philosophers identified her as Anima Mundi, the "soul of the world." As such, she connects many archetypes associated with the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. From her role as protector of roadways to her power as the bringer of death, she offers us keys for healing.

Incorporating her personal experiences with those of her students, Cyndi Brannen weaves a supporting circle around the listener as they start their path towards soulful living, culminating in rebirth.

Blending symbolism, transcendent experiences, dreams, and natural magic with sound psychological theories and practices, Entering Hekate's Cave guides the listener safely through the journey back to the soul.

    Duty is all he knows.
Logan Keller spent his military career saving lives, but none of that prepared him for raising his out-of-control teenage niece. He’s desperate to get through to her. A charity designed for teens seems like the answer, but when Logan arrives to speak to the director, he interrupts an attack on the woman’s life.
    Danger surrounds her.
Willow Cassidy has dedicated her life to helping teens in crisis. When she’s assaulted in the parking lot of her charity, Willow fears the lime-light created by her uncle’s state senate run is to blame. And the threat isn’t over. A second attack proves someone is determined to kill her.
    A tenuous plan.
Logan can’t leave Willow unprotected. Pretending to be her boyfriend is easy—keeping his growing attraction hidden is much harder. Every move designed to keep her safe ramps up the threat against her. Will Logan’s covert mission save Willow’s life or will it be a deadly failure?
Covert Mission is the fourth novel in the gripping Triumph Over Adversity series, but each book can be read as a standalone. If you enjoy stories featuring brave military heroes, intense suspense, and heartwarming romance, then you won't want to miss this captivating read.

Jehovah God has never left us in doubt about his love for humanity. In spite of man's penchant for going against His will and commandments. God's abiding desire to rescue us from eternal perdition which we brought upon ourselves has never waned. And because of His mercies for human beings, God sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to rescue perishing souls. He purchased our deliverance with His own blood. What greater expression of love could be portrayed than the Redeemer laying down His life for a rebellious race? This book, GOD'S PASSION FOR THE PERISHING SOULS, is about the wonderful love and passion of God. I urge every reader to read this book prayerfully and receive the power to accept and embrace God's love and grace which He has continually offered and still offering today for the salvation of our souls.

Our world, without question, is experiencing aberrational times. The life-altering realities of COVID-19 that I worked through as White House press secretary were just the start of it. What followed was a series of history-defining events. From the fall of Afghanistan to the nationwide crime wave, we've all endured painful images of death, destruction, and chaos. Meanwhile, radical teachings on gender and race have infiltrated our nation's schools, poisoning the minds of our children—all at a time when our country feels more divided than ever before. Along with these twenty-first century realities can come a feeling of despair and discouragement. Indeed, I hear it all the time as I crisscross the country: Americans feel disheartened and seek hope.

Taking a similar format to my New York Times bestselling book, For Such a Time as This, I analyze our domestic and international challenges through the lens of faith. Though we have lived through dark times, the storms we face have prompted many great leaders to rise to the moment and have left a yearning in the human heart for a Savior, Jesus Christ, who is walking alongside us every step of the way.

They long to build a future. But first, they must overcome their shattered past.
Eden Houston wants nothing more than to repair her broken relationship with her husband, Adam. But the death of their infant son has left them distant, walking together in body but worlds apart in spirit. As they follow the Oregon Trail with hope of starting fresh, even the vast plains feel too small to contain their grief and brokenness.
But when they come upon the ruins of a massacred wagon train and find three young children still alive in the wreckage, she finds a spark of purpose in a wilderness of sorrow.
Adam fears that taking in the orphans will reopen the grief that Eden has only just begun to conquer. Leaving the children at the next fort will break her heart all over again—and he’s not sure he can bear that agony a second time, either.
However, that concern will have to wait because the man responsible for the massacre has realized the children survived. And he will do whatever it takes to silence them—and anyone who stands in his way. Including Eden.
In the face of fear and desperation, Adam and Eden must hold tight to love, to hope . . . and to the God who knows how to carry those He loves across barren plains.
