Welcome to a new installment of the most successful collection in America, welcome to the Aeronautical Library! In this new edition, we have decided to take a different path to how we write and transmit knowledge and experiences. This new volume is not a technical manual like the previous manuals. Still, it is an explanatory manual based on experiences lived by a group of airline professionals who today form elite crews in international airlines worldwide. They will detail their paths until they reach where they are, they will express their experiences by recommending to each reader the most agile way to achieve their professional goals.
This book is focused on understanding the way to becoming part of an international flight crew, starting from the initial interview in a company, through the entire personnel selection process, the theoretical courses of the plane to fly, the specific simulator instruction, the real flight instruction, the semi-annual instruction, the annual and semi-annual checks, the day-to-day work with all the operational details and many more details to know.
Throughout these pages, each reader will know the experiences lived by our team of pilots, today temporarily writers, who have dedicated their free time to making a portrait of their experiences that we will call "Stories of Success" for this manual to become an indispensable guide for any pilot who wants to achieve the dream of flying an international airline. The Maurya Empire was a South Asian Iron Age historic empire centered in Magadha, created by Chandragupta Maurya in the year 322 before Christ and lasting till 185 before Christ in a loose-knit way. The conquest of the Indo-Gangetic Plain focused the Maurya Empire, and Pataliputra functioned as its capital city (modern-day Patna). Beyond this royal core, the empire's geographical reach was limited by the dedication of army leaders who ruled the armed cities that dot the landscape.
Other than for the far south, the empire briefly controlled the significant city centers and arteries of the Indian subcontinent throughout Ashoka's rule (which was from around 268 to 232 before Christ).
After Ashoka's reign, it sank for practically 50 years before liquifying in 185 before Christ with the murder of Brihadratha by Pushyamitra Shunga and the facility of the Shunga dynasty in Magadha.
Let’s explore the details of this empire that’s relatively unknown in the west, but certainly something people in South Asia are often familiar with.

The Nile River was more than just a water source for the ancient Egyptians; it was the very foundation upon which their civilization thrived. Stretching over 4,000 miles, the river provided sustenance, enabled agriculture, and shaped daily life in profound ways. Without the Nile, the flourishing civilization that we now associate with ancient Egypt would have been impossible.
The river’s importance was most evident in its role as a source of life. Flowing from the heart of Africa to the Mediterranean Sea, the Nile brought fertile silt during its annual inundation. This natural event transformed the arid desert landscape into a lush and arable strip of land, ideal for farming. The nutrient-rich soil deposited by the flooding allowed ancient Egyptians to grow crops like wheat, barley, and flax, which were essential for food, trade, and textile production. This dependable agricultural cycle fostered stability, reducing the risks of famine and ensuring food security for the population.
The river also played a crucial role in sustaining both humans and animals. Its waters provided drinking sources not only for the people but also for livestock, which were integral to agricultural practices. Additionally, the Nile supported a wide variety of fish and attracted wildlife to its banks, allowing ancient Egyptians to develop fishing and hunting practices that supplemented their diet. Daily life revolved around the river, as it supplied the necessary resources for cooking, cleaning, and irrigation.
