  The thirty-five year-old (hence utterly over-the-hill) Miss Margaret Mackenzie, having devoted her life to others, suddenly finds herself with no one to care for, and in possession of a moderate fortune. Having money, she is now much sought-after and no longer universally deemed too old to marry. Partly because she has spent her life taking care of the brother whose money she has now inherited, she has no experience of wealth or popularity. Miss Mackenzie is the definition of “other-oriented. (Indeed, Trollope originally considered naming the novel, and his heroine, “Griselda”, presumably to invoke the folkloric character’s qualities of stolid obedience and endless patience.) These circumstances are the perfect set-up for classic Trollopian swipes and snipes at various fortune-hunters and other obsequies, and more broadly at society’s sexism, classism, and Mammonism. She comes into her own and begins to try to enjoy life, at first juggling, but ultimately rejecting, three serious suitors. As the story unfolds, the particulars of her deceased brother’s life and death reveal themselves, Miss Mackenzie becomes increasingly able to know who she is and what she wants, and both she and the reader are better able to discern the true colors of those around her. The question is: Will her self-knowledge overcome both her personal history and various social prejudices, so as to allow her to fall in love with – and say “yes” to – a really good man?   A darkly funny Christmas story. It was a strange day when Blake Alexander found out about this odd case everyone at his hospital wanted to decorate the hospital for Christmas drunk on the Christmas cheer. 
  But that was nothing the reapers were trying to get the after life business in line with fate's decree that they celebrate Christmas with reapers collecting people as Santa Clauses which Blake was totally against. To him it was an anathema. He felt like scrooge It was getting so Christmasy the people at the hospital had stopped calling him Dr Death on the upside but on the downside they called him the Grinch. 
  He was in a bad mood when he visited the police station which was trimmed for Christmas too. 
  God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen 
  It's Christmas again and everything is crazy again and Blake Alexander is suffering from it's madness again the Necromancer gives his dad a present a black T shirt with the Grinch on saying I hate Christmas on it from the Deject shop. Gabriel is giving out cute fuzzy Santa hats again and the hospital is gone mad with Christmas. In the afterlife Blake's boss Argent has decided to bring back the Christmas spirit again with the Jack Skellingtons are making a comeback everywhere. 
  How far will this madness go? 
  Will the police get what they want for Christmas the serial killer the Necromancer's name or will the miss their present the living reaper Mortimer signed seal and delivered to them by Argent himself. 
  "You need Brandy," said Argent making a glass of it appear in his hand and handed it Mortimer. "But I don't drink," said Mortimer. "You can and must it's Christmas," said Argent. "Okay it's your party," said Mortimer, "Salute!" Mortimer said and drank. He ended up in wet Santa suit. "Why are you covered in drink that's not in the spirit of the season," said Argent. "I said I don't drink I'm a skeleton! What did you expect to happen?" Moaned Mortimer.

  It’s the year 2872 and the young, beautiful, and insane Keila Eisenstein is on the run from her long-time stalker, Bjorn Muller. Escaping him for the umpteenth time, Keila crashes down on the asteroid colony Eden, most famous for the long running reality show “The Bronze Age Fools”  
  Convinced that Eden is her destiny, Keila kills “The Bronze Age Fools” unwitting main star Abraham Goldstein, which forces the show to cancel. Keila then fakes her own death by deleting her social media account and instructs her lover Metatron to release a press release blaming the cancellation of "the Bronze Age Fools" on Bjorn Muller.  
  Bjorn, who is convinced that Keila is dead, as he can’t imaging her willingly deleting her SpaceBook account, goes back to Earth for a holiday. The holiday is ruined as Bjorn is blamed for causing the cancellation of everyone’s favourite show! 
  Being “dead”, Keila builds up a revolutionary movement against the ruling Terran Council. Despite her lack of intelligence or common sense, her plot armour is leading her on the way, and with the help from the evil space demon Rangda, she is poised to free humanity from the oppression of the incompetent array of villains that make up the Terran Council. 
  But, is relying on an evil space demon to free humanity from a group of plutocratic oppressors really a good idea?
