  Philosopher and economist Karl Marx was known for his theory of Marxism on which the modern form of communism is based. Communism can be defined as the thought of economic equality where the concept of private property doesn’t exist. The vision of communism was built by Marx on the technological and human possibilities that were available and visible at his time while also considering the fact that it would be adopted by the new socialist society. 
  The ideologies of Karl Marx are based on the thoughts that resulted from distresses and discrimination from capitalism. In capitalism, private business people and corporations owned all industrial units its equipment and the resources required to run them. The owners of these corporations and businesses could exploit the workers who had to work involuntarily for wages. 
  As per the ideologies of communism, the working class should rise up against the ‘bourgeoisie class’ and establish a new society void of economic classes where no one has any private property. 
  The communist society of Marx can be said to be in a position of being at one and at the same time the most illustrious of paradises and amid the least identified. Although there is no one who debates on the significance of his vision of communism to Marxism the vision is unclear.

  The Grounds of Political Legitimacy

  Political decisions have the potential to greatly impact our lives. Think of decisions in relation to abortion or climate change, for example. This makes political legitimacy an important normative concern. But what makes political decisions legitimate? Are they legitimate in virtue of having support from the citizens? Democratic conceptions of political legitimacy answer in the affirmative. Such conceptions rightly highlight that legitimate political decision-making must be sensitive to disagreements among the citizens.Peter argues that the legitimacy of political decisions doesn't just depend on respect for the citizens' will; and defends a novel hybrid conception of political legitimacy, called the Epistemic Accountability conception. According to this conception, political legitimacy also depends on how political decision-making responds to evidence for what there is most reason to do. The Grounds of Political Legitimacy starts with an overview of the main ways in which philosophers have thought about political legitimacy, and identifies the epistemic accountability conception as an overlooked alternative. Considering the norms that should govern political debate, it examines the role of experts in politics, and probes the responsibilities of democratically elected political leaders and as well as of citizens.

  A historian’s overview of Czechoslovakia’s Alexander Dubček, the Prague Spring of 1968, and the Warsaw Pact Invasion.   Cold War nadir: January 1968 and in Czechoslovakia, the new Communist Party leader, Alexander Dubcek, has made it clear that this is the opportunity to loosen the Soviet stranglehold on the country. As the Prague winter slowly eases into a Prague spring, it really does seem as if Dubček has judged it right. Reforms in oppressive censorship laws, improved housing, a lessening of totalitarian oppression, Dubček promises and delivers on it all. The new regime in Czechoslovakia does seek to destroy communism but it does want to choose its own political destiny.   And then, on the night of 20/21 August, the Prague Spring is crushed by the Warsaw Pact invasion: 200,000 Communist troops, mostly Soviet but also Polish and East German, flood the country. The resulting protests and rallies against the invasion, mostly by young people, are violent and bloody. Hundreds die in clashes; self-immolation, in public and before the eyes of the world, brings home the horror and the depth of feeling in the Czech people.   It is the end of the Prague Spring, the reformation of Czechoslovakia having ended in ruins. But despite the brutal crushing of Czech hopes and dreams, the events of 1968 lay the foundations for future change. It will take another two decades but it is, ultimately, where the unraveling of the Communist bloc begins.
