    Description:
The Voice in the Night by William Hope Hodgson is a chilling maritime horror first published in 1907. The story follows two sailors who encounter a mysterious castaway on a fog-drenched sea. His tale of isolation, disease, and transformation reveals a creeping terror that lingers far beyond the narrative.
Narrated by horror author Jonathan Dunne, this recording captures Hodgson’s eerie atmosphere, blending suspense, dread, and the uncanny beauty of the open, menacing sea. While the text is in the public domain, this performance is an original work and copyright © 2025 Jonathan Dunne.
This audiobook is part of Timeless Terrors, a dedicated series bringing classic horror back to life — stories from the great masters of the macabre, narrated afresh to haunt a new generation.
Listeners should be prepared for an unsettling voyage into isolation, the unknown, and the subtle horrors that dwell in both nature and humanity.

Asian Shorts came about because of a sequence of events on one weekend in May 2015. A friend was telling me that he had several short stories with Asia as a backdrop, I was saying that I had a few as well, another friend sent me an email that he wanted to write a short on Pattaya, and one of my Thai cousins sent me her latest photo, the one on the cover of this book.
It was like somebody was trying to tell me something, or several were anyway.
