Sinopse

Twenty-five is so unique, let it be the only number you ever use.
What is so special about twenty-five? because I chose it.

And so it is in life, whatever you decide is unique will be.
You only need to say it and agree, and watch the world join you and say yes,
indeed, you are right, twenty-five is truly special.

Always remember this: you are capable of making anything unique; you are powerful.

Sole is a collection of incredible and mind-blowing poems, with life lessons for you to live to fullness and be free.

It is true that a good number of people believe in greatness, but only a few understand that achieving it could depend on the extent to which you want it.

You can not have greatness without first yearning for it. Greatness happens to only those who desire to live great and go on the journey to achieving it.
Do you genuinely yearn for greatness or assume that distinction is meant for a selected few?

No one is born to leave a mark of greatness; whether rich or not, it is our responsibility to make great things happen to us; and you must first understand this.

GitanjaliBy Rabindranath TagoreWith an Introduction by W. B. YeatsGitanjali (song offerings) is a collection of 103 devotional poems written originally in Bengali and first published in 1910. In 1912 a translation into English by the author was published in 1912, and led to his being awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913.The Indian sage, Paramahansa Yogananda, who was a friend and admirer of Tagore, made the following comment on his poetry: "The beauty of his lines, to me, lies in his art of referring to God in nearly every stanza, yet seldom mentioning the sacred Name. 'Drunk with the bliss of singing,' Tagore writes, 'I forget myself and call thee friend who art my lord.'"Production copyright 2024 Voices of Today

In Nothing and Everything, Dr. Engin Ozertugrul offers a deeply personal exploration of human existence where paradox and transcendence coexist. Known for Interview with OCD, Ozertugrul uses poetry to unpack the intricate relationship between consciousness, emotion, and divinity. Eschewing structured rhyme, he employs repetition, simplicity, and second-person narration to reveal a universal truth: we are all connected and uncertain, and that is where beauty lies. This collection avoids common poetic tropes like romance or singular religious views, focusing instead on raw human experiences—fear, sadness, anger, and hope. Each poem wrestles with the limits of understanding without succumbing to nihilism, guiding readers toward meditative peace born of acceptance and awareness.Inspired by Transcendental Meditation (TM) and thinkers such as Rumi, Spinoza, Jung, Kant, Emerson, and Blake, the poems reflect spiritual insights reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Ozertugrul credits TM for shaping his understanding of consciousness and personal transformation.“This book is about being human,” he says—embracing challenges, disappointments, fears, anger, and joy. Written with what he calls “a better use of his OCD mind,” the poems use layered repetition to create a spiritual hypnosis.Nothing and Everything will resonate with readers interested in meditation, mindfulness, and nontraditional spirituality, especially those connected to TM and the David Lynch Foundation. Though not self-help, it offers comfort not by providing answers but by giving space to sit with questions.

As winter's first snow falls, there's not much Christmas cheer in Sherwood Forest. Cupboards are bare, the nights are cold, and the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham squeezes his citizens for every penny they're worth.
But deep in the forest, in the heart of the Major Oak, Robin and Marian are plotting an audacious scheme to bring some festive joy to all…
This charming retelling of the Robin Hood legend by Chris Bush, with music by Matt Winkworth, was first performed at Rose Theatre, Kingston upon Thames, in 2024, directed by Elin Schofield.
Robin Hood and the Christmas Heist was commissioned by the Rose to be performed by members of the Rose Youth Theatre alongside four professional adult actors – and offers a wealth of opportunities for other theatre companies who want a merry Christmas classic that hits the target.

The language of Poetry is an art that most of us attempt at some point in our lives. Although its commonplace exposure has been somewhat marginalised in today’s often fast-paced lives we all recognise good verse that can empathise with our thoughts or open us up to experience new things in new ways, to better understand and to enjoy the many strands of our lives.
But finding a starting point can be overwhelming, even off-putting, so in this series we offer up our Top 10 classic poets, who brim with talent and verse, on a range of subjects and themes that we can all enjoy.
In this volume we explore the poets and the poetry of the Elizabethan Age. Long revered and admired this verse illuminated both this gilded age and the talents in the centuries that followed.

Read by the author, John Cooper Clarke.'Nothing short of dazzling' – Alex TurnerDr John Cooper Clarke's dazzling, scabrous voice has reverberated through pop culture for decades, his influence on generations of performance poets and musicians plain for all to see. In WHAT, the original 'People's Poet' comes storming out of the gate with an uproarious new collection, reminding us why he is one of Britain's most beloved writers and performers. James Brown, John F. Kennedy, Jesus Christ: nobody is safe from the punk rocker's acerbic pen – and that's just the first poem.Hot on the heels of The Luckiest Guy Alive and his sprawling, encyclopaediac memoir I Wanna Be Yours, the good Doctor returns with his most trenchant collection of poems yet. Vivid and alive, with a sensitivity only a writer with a life as varied and extraordinary as Cooper Clarke's could summon, WHAT is an exceptional collection from one of our foremost satirists.
