Sinopsis

In this dark tale of possession and forbidden sorcery, Lovecraft explores the terrifying limits of identity, agency, and the human soul. Told through the testimony of Daniel Upton, the story recounts the tragic and horrifying fate of his closest friend, Edward Derby—a man drawn into a sinister marriage with Asenath Waite, a woman steeped in the occult traditions of the shadowed New England town of Innsmouth.
