~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~
For almost one year, the Robinson family had lived in one of the most peaceful neighborhoods in town. Because of her forward personality and beauty, Loretta was liked by most of her neighbors. Everyone seemed to be especially amused by her far out ideas that just happened to come up at appropriate times. The Robinson's house was on a corner lot and was built long before tract homes became the dominant mode of single-family home construction. There were no fences between the neighboring houses but Loretta loved plenty of plants and trees. She felt that she was re-creating the Garden of Eden.
On the large lot Loretta nurtured a variety of flowers which included the Bird of Paradise along with red and white roses. When first moving in, she had planted an orange and avocado tree that bear fruit she was pleased to share with her next-door neighbor and the senior couple around the corner. Loretta's plan was to have an anniversary celebration for having lived a year in the most beautiful neighborhood she had ever lived. It would be an outdoor event in her fabulous garden where there would be wining and dining with music for listening and dancing.
It was on a warm August night when Loretta, wearing only a pair of scanty panties and bra dashed to make the first invitation to her gathering. After knocking on the door of the first couple to the house on the left, she was greeted warmly. The gentleman by the name of Mac and his wife Joanne were not shocked by the lovely lady flashing her bare skin in front of them. After being invited indoors, Loretta hugged and kissed them both on the lips. The gentleman thought to himself, well, this is Loretta who we've known as the beautiful wacky one. I wonder what she has in mind now?
After some small talk, Loretta invited her friends to the outdoor gathering in her backyard, “You've enjoyed my garden before but this will be more like a party. The occasion is having lived here near you and other beautiful persons for one full year; and also to give thanks for being alive.  My husband and daughter and myself will all be in the nude, just like in the Garden of Eden. Will you be comfortable being naked, also?”
“How could we refuse?” the lady asked rhetorically. “Will you allow free touching?” The wife then put her hand underneath the front of Loretta's panties to finger her private area. “Like this?” she asked with a smile.
“Yes, something like that,” Loretta answered as she enjoyed the feeling of her friend's touch. “And even much more if anyone feels so inclined.”
“I already feel 'inclined' to do a little more right about now. May I?” Joanne responded with a smile.
“Since you've already helped yourself, be my guest, but only a sniff and a little taste. It will be an appetizer for the full meal this weekend,” Loretta said.
“You make everything look so cute,” Joanne said. “Let me help you out of your panties.” She went to her knees to help Loretta step out of her panties and kissed her muff.
    The Silent Burnout explores the quiet exhaustion experienced by high-performing adults who appear stable on the outside but feel increasingly depleted on the inside.
    This series examines the psychological and physiological patterns behind modern midlife burnout: chronic stress, performance-driven identity, emotional flattening, irritability, and the subtle narrowing of joy. Unlike dramatic collapse narratives, this podcast focuses on the erosion that happens long before breakdown when endurance becomes the default strategy.
    Drawing on research in stress physiology, occupational psychology, and behavioral neuroscience, The Silent Burnout breaks down how sustained responsibility reshapes the nervous system, why rest alone often fails to restore energy, and how silent pressure affects relationships, motivation, and long-term vitality.
    Designed for professionals between 35 and 55 navigating career demands, financial responsibility, and evolving cultural expectations, this series offers structured insight not motivational noise. No dramatic reinvention. No performative self-help. Just clear analysis and practical recalibration strategies for sustainable performance.
    If you’ve been functioning at full capacity for years and calling it normal, this conversation is for you.
    Because burnout doesn’t always explode.Sometimes, it fades you out quietly.
    Speaking in Tongues
    Language, historically speaking, has always been slippery. Two dictionaries provide two different maps of the universe: which one is true, or are both false? Speaking in Tongues—taking the form of a dialogue between Nobel laureate novelist J. M. Coetzee and eminent translator Mariana Dimópulos—examines some of the most pressing linguistic issues that plague writers and translators well into the twenty-first century.
    The authors inquire if one can truly love an acquired language, and they question why certain languages, like Spanish, have gender differences built into them. They examine the threat of monolingualism and ask how we can counter, if at all, the global spread of the English language, which seems to maraud like a colonial power. They question whether it should be the duty of the translator to remove morally objectionable language. And in the conclusion, Coetzee even speculates whether it's only mathematics that can tell the truth about everything.
    Drawing from decades of experience in the craft of language, both Dimópulos and Coetzee face the reality that when it comes to self-expression, some things will always get lost in translation. Speaking in Tongues finally emerges as an engaging and accessible work of philosophy, shining a light on some of the most important linguistic and philological issues of our time.
    Who would think that some of the oldest human remains found in North America would be found in Canada. This is on top of, or should I say beneath, the remains of Viking Settlements and even earlier Irish Settlements. Who else has visited Canada in the Past? You will have to listen to the book to find out. After all, Gardar, the seat of the Bishops in Greenland, with its own cathedral, was only 570 miles to the east of the Newfoundland coast. This is virtually a short boat trip to the Vikings. And what of the massive stone ruins found at Ungava Bay, well past the Arctic Circle. All these and more are in this book. I hope that you enjoy it.
    In Dr. J. Bruce Stewart's transformative work, "The Race Ahead," readers are taken on a compelling journey into the depths of racial bias ingrained in American society and the mind itself. This groundbreaking book not only diagnoses the presence and origins of racial biases but also prescribes a sophisticated blueprint for eradicating them, aimed at rewiring how we perceive and interact across racial lines.
    Dr. Stewart begins by exploring the psychological foundations of bias, focusing particularly on the amygdala's role in triggering automatic and subconscious responses associated with fear and othering. He explains how these psychological processes, though once essential to human survival, now perpetuate division and misunderstanding in a diverse society. Using relatable anecdotes and rigorous research, Stewart shows how deep-seated fears and stereotypes shape our interactions, often in ways we are not consciously aware of.
    Central to the book is the "Last Mile" problem, a concept Stewart uses to describe the final and most challenging steps in the journey toward racial equity. These steps involve not only acknowledging and understanding biases but actively implementing strategies to dismantle them within ourselves and our institutions. Stewart argues that this last mile is fraught with complexities and challenges, as it requires changing longstanding societal structures and confronting uncomfortable truths.
    Part historical review, part psychological exploration, and part sociological study, "The Race Ahead" delves into the origins and perpetuations of racial myths and stereotypes. From the misrepresentations in media and literature that shape public perception to the policies and practices in education and law enforcement that reinforce racial disparities, Stewart leaves no stone unturned.
    "The Race Ahead" is an urgent call to action, demanding a radical shift in both mindset and behavior from all sectors of society. It challenges readers to confront their biases
