Sinopse

Wounds of the soul can often detour us from the path that God has purposed for us. We never put in our plan for life to experience being homeless, discover mental illness, or explore the correctional system! However, one wrong decision can take us down a deep, dark abyss that we may find difficult to climb out of. Hope takes us on her journey of ministering to wounded souls in the prison system. Throughout this book, she describes her challenges, failures, and victories in Christ Jesus. 
Drawing on wisdom and training from the chaplaincy and pastoral care program, Hope provides a plan of action for faith-based groups, persons with a passion for social justice, and those who may have loved ones impacted by the systemic issues of incarceration, addiction, mental illness, and more. Light in dark places is developed to assist those who want to help others heal and grow in the potential God called them to be.
