Sinopsis

📚 Vintage pattern book collector and sewing historian Page Turner is curating a special exhibit of rare sewing patterns when the exhibit's wealthy benefactor—a notorious pattern hoarder—is found dead in her archive, crushed under a collapsed shelf of priceless pattern books. The police suspect a tragic accident, but Page notices the shelf brackets were deliberately loosened and the victim's collection contains forged vintage patterns. With her exhibit canceled and the collecting community in an uproar, Page must bookmark the clues to solve the case. Assisted by her bibliophile friends and the handsome rare book appraiser authenticating her collection, Page uncovers a scheme involving pattern forgery, stolen publishing rights, and a black market for rare sewing publications. From suspicious printing techniques that reveal modern reproductions to paper aging that doesn't match the era, every page tells a story. But when Page discovers the victim was systematically acquiring—through dubious means—every copy of certain rare patterns to control the market, she realizes the killer is protecting a publishing legacy more valuable than any first edition. With the annual book fair approaching and the real culprit still binding lies, Page must stitch together the evidence before her own story gets permanently shelved.
