Sinopsis

Freud invented psychoanalysis. Jacques Lacan (1901-1981) ensured that it did not disappear into deviations and compromises. His written work and his oral seminar constitute a decisive contribution to analytical clinic and universal knowledge. Lacan is a difficult author, hence the need to talk about him logically without controversy.
This Understanding Lacan has a didactic aim: How and in what way does Lacan reinvent psychoanalysis by providing a way out of Freud's dead ends? The genius of Freud is matched by the genius of Lacan.
