"I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening; I drank and danced all night with doubt and found her a virgin in the morning.""Having to talk destroys the symphony of silence.""The sin which is unpardonable is knowingly and wilfully to reject truth, to fear knowledge lest that knowledge pander not to thy prejudices.""I hardly ever talk- words seem such a waste, and they are none of them true. No one has yet invented a language from my point of view." Aleister Crowley Aleister Crowley was born 12 October 1875. He was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, and mountaineer. Crowley founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Æon of Horus in the early 20th century. A prolific writer, he published widely over the course of his life. Born to a wealthy family in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, Crowley rejected his parents' fundamentalist Christian faith to pursue an interest in Western esotericism. He was educated at Trinity College at the University of Cambridge, where he focused his attentions on mountaineering and poetry. Some biographers allege that here Crowley was recruited into a British intelligence agency, further suggesting that he remained a spy throughout his life. In 1898 he joined the esoteric Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, where he was trained in ceremonial magic. Moving to Boleskine House by Loch Ness in Scotland, Crowley went mountaineering in Mexico before studying Hindu and Buddhist practices in India. He married Rose Edith Kelly and in 1904 they honeymooned in Cairo, Egypt Crowley declared his followers should "Do what thou wilt" and seek to align themselves with their True Will through the practice of magick. Herein is the definitive treasury of his long lost writings.

Prayer is foundational to the Christian life, but many people don’t understand it. What is it for? How does it work? Why do we do it? This short and accessible book explains what prayer is, why it exists and how it can encourage us in our life of faith.
Written by a pastor with years of teaching and counselling experience, Why We Pray doesn’t simply tell readers why they should pray, but instead focus on four blessing-filled reasons that will help us want to pray. Rather than feeling discouraged and disheartened by our inconsistency in prayer, we feel reinvigorated to approach God with confidence and joy, delighted by the privilege of talking directly to our heavenly Father.
William Philip has been a minister at The Tron Church, Glasgow, Scotland since 2004. He was formerly Director of Ministry at the Proclamation Trust in London and is now Chairman of Cornhill Scotland. Prior to ordination, he was a doctor specialising in cardiology. He is married with two grown-up daughters.

What does the Bible say about the first and second coming of Jesus? Many believers present a picture of God to the world that is not true to His character, nature, or way.
In this book, Ted J. Hanson exposes some misconceptions concerning the end times, the day of the Lord, hell, the mark of the beast, the Antichrist, the kingdom of God, Jesus in His second coming, and God’s eternal plan.
The sacrifice of Jesus upon our cross put away the power of sin for us all. He bore our sins to invite us into His eternal body of life. God’s judgment is one of love and it is good news for all who come to Him and believe. Today, and the future, is filled with hope and life for those who embrace God’s love and a relationship with Him by faith.
The second coming of Jesus is not just an event to come but an increasing glory of God in the lives of all who eagerly call upon His presence each day. To live our lives as sons and daughters of God we must embrace both the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins and His manifest presence that reveals His increasing glory in our lives.
This book presents a foundation for knowing Jesus in a deeper way each and every day that empowers His salvation in our lives in tangible ways.
