Understanding passive aggression requires an exploration of the psychological mechanisms behind it. People who exhibit passive aggressive behavior often struggle with direct confrontation. This may stem from fear of rejection, a lack of assertiveness, or an inability to express anger healthily. In many cases, these individuals are unable or unwilling to articulate their true emotions and instead choose passive-aggressive tactics to deal with frustration.
