Summary

Since ‘Planet Heaven’ to ‘How I Know Gravity,’ 35 years have passed. How do I know that gravity is a rain of space? I spent half of my life researching books on physics, astronomy, and ancient knowledge looking to finish what Newton, Tesla, and Einstein had begun on the old question of gravity. Today I know a thing or two about space and gravity because I have dismissed a thing or two about space and gravity from what the scientific community is saying on their papers and books on these subjects. I don’t trust them as far as I can run away from their claims. I am what you can call a dissident observer of nature, a citizen scientist. I do believe I got it going on. You have no idea how far advanced I am in objective knowledge compared to your local science boys and girls. My lab, you ask? The Internet! Well, the point is that I know what causes gravity, which is not the same as what the scientists claim. This is something I feel I need to share. And, why, oh why, must we build air cities? Isn’t obvious? Look at your planet’s surface. What do you see? Natural chaos. Pandemics. The planet’s surface and atmosphere have gone crazy. Earth is killing us! We need to do something, don’t you think? Yes. Read on... you’ll be fine... what you will learn here for a few dollars could save you and your family from certain disaster. You must know how I know gravity. Get your reason umbrella up. It’s raining all over you. It’s a gravity-wet day!

'A book that couldn't be more timely, providing an accessible introduction to epidemiology.' Kirkus

A compelling and disquieting journey through the history and science of epidemics.

For centuries mankind has waged war against the infections that, left untreated, would have the power to wipe out communities, or even entire populations. Yet for all our advanced scientific knowledge, only one human disease - smallpox - has ever been eradicated globally.

In recent years, outbreaks of Ebola and Zika have provided vivid examples of how difficult it is to contain an infection once it strikes, and the panic that a rapidly spreading epidemic can ignite.

But while we chase the diseases we are already aware of, new ones are constantly emerging, like the coronavirus that spread across the world in 2020. At the same time, antimicrobial resistance is harnessing infections that we once knew how to control, enabling them to thrive once more.

Meera Senthilingam presents a timely look at humanity's ongoing battle against infection, examining the successes and failures of the past, along with how we are confronting the challenges of today, and our chances of eradicating disease in the future.

Gender Mosaic - Beyond the Myth...

With profound implications for our most foundational assumptions about gender, Gender Mosaic explains why there is no such thing as a male or female brain. For generations, we've been taught that women and men differ in profound and important ways. Women are more sensitive and emotional, whereas men are more aggressive and sexual, because this or that region in the brains of women is smaller or larger than in men, or because they have more or less of this or that hormone. This story seems to provide us with a neat biological explanation for much of what we encounter in day-to-day life. But is it true?According to neuroscientist Daphna Joel, it's not. And in Gender Mosaic, she sets forth a bold and compelling argument that debunks the notion of female and male brains. Drawing on the latest scientific evidence, including the groundbreaking results of her own studies, Dr. Joel explains that every human brain is a unique mixture — or mosaic — of "male" and "female" features, and that these mosaics don't map neatly into two categories. With urgent practical implications for the way we understand ourselves and the world around us, Gender Mosaic is a fascinating look at the science of gender, sex and the brain, and at how freeing ourselves from the gender binary can help us all reach our full human potential.
