Sinopse

The popular adventure novelist William Lancaster was the son of a Royal Navy captain and wrote under the pseudonym of Harry Collingwood. He studied at Royal Naval College, Greenwich and distinguished himself by carrying off many prizes. He joined the Royal Navy as a midshipman at the age of fifteen, but due to severe near-sightedness, he was forced to abandon his chosen career. Instead, he became a civil engineer, specialising in harbour commissions. In his spare time, he turned to writing adventure yarns and historical novels, almost always with a nautical setting. His novels reveal his informed knowledge of the genre and an untiring ability to construct compelling and original adventure stories. For the first time in publishing history, this eBook presents Harry Collingwood’s complete works, with numerous illustrations, rare texts, informative introductions and the usual Delphi bonus material. In this new collection, Patrick Barb explores themes of family found and lost, media consumption and the dangers of runaway nostalgia, the supernatural in our lives, and the impact of violence in both the long- and short-term. -A young couple is reunited with their lost son whose favorite fuzzy bear suit connects him to the ghost of a vengeful mama bear while he's alone in the forest. -A jaded screenwriter can’t escape the haunted screenplay that’s ruined his career. -A man returns to his small hometown, where the people are gone and the trees have taken over. -A Slasher and Final Girl brother-sister duo match wits and blades against a sentient, dimension-hopping apocalypse at a never-ending summer camp. From rural backwoods to Park Slope brownstones, Barb's characters face impossible, awful situations, testing their inner strength and understanding of reality. Covering quiet horror, weird fiction, supernatural horror, slasher horror, topical dark fiction, and more, these stories spotlight supposedly familiar terrors and fears in new and unexpected ways..

'One cannot go about in a German pension without coming to the conclusion that life is very full of mysterious things.'

First published in 1911, In a German Pension is the first collection of short stories from one of the modernist masters of the form, Katherine Mansfield.

Written during Mansfield's stay in Bad Wörishofen after her unfortunate marriage and subsequent miscarriage, the stories in this emotionally acute collection offer sharp, satirical observations of German society, noting everything from proper etiquette to gender role expectations and the repression of women. Taking place within a boarding house, each story centres around a semi-autobiographical female figure. Mansfield expertly explores themes such as cultural misunderstandings and the absurdity of societal conventions, all told through what would become her trademark dry humour and nuanced critique. This audiobook edition is brilliantly brought to life by Eve Karpf.
Katherine Mansfield (1888 – 1923) was a New Zealand writer and critic. She was an important figurehead of the modernist movement, befriending the likes of Virginia Woolf and D. H. Lawrence amongst others. Her works regularly explored themes such as sexuality, religion and existentialism, and have been translated into twenty-five different languages across the world.

The ClusterF*ck Collection is it's namesake. It's a collection of works that have no rhyme or reason. Some poems are about love and some are about healing. Some short stories are about trauma and some excerpts are more horror themed. It's a well rounded approach at giving the world a glimpse into my own. As a neurodivergent, Native American and trans author I could not be more proud to bring these parts of me to more people.

My name is James Jackson and I enjoy spanking naughty girls of all ages. Ivy is my wonderful and very understanding wife who encourages me to spank whoever I want, as long as there's no intercourse. This is the fourth audiobook in my spanking autobiography. In the first, I was introduced to extramarital spanking by my wife and her friend Bridget, and in the second, I was lucky enough to spank Kate Anderson to help her change her attitude and awful behaviour. In the third, I spanked Evelyn and her naughty daughter Emma. In this audiobook, you will meet Nikki, a twenty-four-year-old who is looking for some parental guidance. My wife and I took on the roles of Aunty Ivy and Uncle James. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did. I would encourage you to listen to the first audiobooks in this series first, but you don’t have to if that's not your thing.
