She is a published poet and writer, regularly sharing her work with the public, and has considerable experience in adjudicating and examining oral performance. Together, Gillian and Verner are Co-Founders of the annual International Proverse Prizes for unpublished writing submitted in English. The wide-ranging poems to enjoy, chosen by Verner Bickley, are by many different, varied writers, some world-famous.
