Another thrilling novel of the war at sea from the author of Tug of War and Flotilla Attack.

Already two German battleships, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, had slipped through the English Channel under the bows of the British Fleet. Now, the Third Reich's largest and most deadly warship, the Tirpitz, had only one possible destination on Europe's Atlantic coast: the formidable dry dock of St Nazaire.

HMS Rose, aged and jinxed destroyer, was detailed to join the daring mission to destroy the entire dry dock of St Nazaire. She found herself not, as planned, backing up Operation Chariot as a troop ship, but fighting alone in the icy, fogbound seas—shot to hell and 300 miles between her and home . . .

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.
"Every painting is a secret the canvas tries to keep. But what if the secret stares back at you?”
They told her that the school was prestigious. That it had trained visionaries. That the isolated location was part of its charm.
But when Isadora arrives at the remote European art academy, she senses something is wrong. Whispers crawl through the hallways. The instructors' smiles don’t reach their eyes. And the paintings—the paintings bleed.
Her brush reveals more than beauty. It exposes the rot beneath the surface, the spirits trapped in pigment, and the truth about her own reflection.
Inspired by the atmospheric dread of classic Italian horror, this is a creepy tale of art, madness, and witch's desire that feeds on creativity.

When an elderly, world-famous magician is found dead in his Cherringham mansion, there is nothing suspicious about the passing. According to the doctor, it was a heart attack - plain and simple. But the performer's long-time assistant suspects something sinister and she asks Jack and Sarah to investigate. And like the great magician's amazing tricks, it soon becomes clear that his death is anything but simple: in the world of magic, nothing is ever what it seems, and sometimes even illusions can turn deadly...

Set in the sleepy English village of Cherringham, the detective series brings together an unlikely sleuthing duo: English web designer Sarah and American ex-cop Jack. Thrilling and deadly - but with a spot of tea - it's like Rosamunde Pilcher meets Inspector Barnaby.

Co-authors Neil Richards (based in the UK) and Matthew Costello (based in the US), have been writing together since the mid-90s, creating innovative content and working on major projects for the BBC, Disney Channel, Sony, ABC, Eidos, and Nintendo to name but a few. Their transatlantic collaboration has underpinned scores of TV drama scripts, computer games, radio shows, and the best-selling mystery series Cherringham. Their latest series project is called Mydworth Mysteries.

The narrator of the audiobook, Neil Dudgeon, has been in many British television programmes including the roles of 'DCI John Barnaby' in 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Jim Riley' in 'The Life of Riley'. He is also known for his film roles in 'The Nativity', 'Sorted' and 'Son of Rambow'. In 2012 Dudgeon starred as 'Norman Birkett' on BBC Radio 4's Afternoon Play series written by Caroline and David Stafford.

London, 1941. Britain has endured the relentless bombing campaign of the Blitz and emerged, scarred but unbroken. Caitrin, too, strives to weather each challenge that comes her way, though her ever-ready banter belies deep heartbreak and loss. But now the war has entered another phase. Instead of indiscriminate bombing, the Luftwaffe is pinpointing historic targets, including cathedrals and ancestral homes. It's as if Germany plans to erase Britain's very essence and culture, destroying morale as it does so.

Caitrin is no fan of the landed gentry, even if her fellow operative and friend, Lord Hector Neville-Percy, is one of them. But soon it is not just historical targets under attack, but hospitals and nursing homes too. Tasked with rooting out the saboteurs placing the beacons, she finds that all roads lead to Daniel "Teddy" Baer, a charismatic Whitechapel crook with high aspirations and zero scruples.

As a member of the female-driven 512 counterespionage unit, Caitrin understands how often women are underestimated and overlooked—and how to use it to her advantage. But she is not the only one who knows how to hide in plain sight, how to outwit and effortlessly manipulate. And sometimes, as with a beacon hidden deep within a building, danger only becomes apparent when it flares to life, right before the moment of impact . . .
