As the self-proclaimed screw-up in a family of overachieving witches, Robin spends her time hanging out with her chatty squirrel familiar Tansy and avoiding her eccentric relatives.

Forced back to the small English town of Wildwood Heath for the funeral, Robin finds herself surrounded by bickering relatives and rival covens wanting to claim her grandmother's legacy. Worse, when Robin stumbles upon the dead body of the Head Witch's assistant, she's the only person who suspects that Grandma's death was no accident either.
Robin must immerse herself back in the life of a coven witch and team up with her former crush (turned hot sports captain) to get to the bottom of the mystery. But will she survive long enough to see the coven's leadership change hands... and who will be the next Head Witch?
This fun paranormal mystery from author Elle Adams contains a quick-witted heroine and her sassy squirrel sidekick, an English village ruled by squabbling witch covens, and a hair-raising magical adventure.

The Transition Of Juan Romero -...

    H. P. Lovecraft’s The Transition of Juan Romero is one of his briefest and most mysterious tales, written in a single day on September 16, 1919, yet withheld from publication until 1944, seven years after his death. Set in a grim Nevada mine, it follows a narrator and his co-worker, Juan Romero, as they descend into a newly opened shaft where an unearthly sound echoes from below. What they discover—or perhaps imagine—blends dream and nightmare, fusing cosmic horror with the claustrophobic dread of the deep earth. The story’s simplicity and ambiguity reveal an early experiment in atmosphere over plot, foreshadowing Lovecraft’s later mastery of unseen terrors and unspeakable revelations.
Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890–1937) was an American writer whose strange, atmospheric fiction reshaped modern horror and science fiction. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he grew up steeped in myth, astronomy, and classical literature, all of which infused his later work. Lovecraft’s stories—The Call of Cthulhu, The Colour Out of Space, and At the Mountains of Madness among them—introduced the vast “Cthulhu Mythos,” a vision of an indifferent cosmos ruled by ancient, incomprehensible beings. His influence spread posthumously through pulp magazines, writers like August Derleth and Clark Ashton Smith, and later generations of authors, filmmakers, and artists. Though he struggled with poverty and obscurity in life, Lovecraft’s unique blend of cosmic awe and existential dread has made him one of the most influential voices in speculative fiction history.

He'd been an important part of the team putting together the International Data Bank, which would track every single move made by every single human being. As the project neared completion, he realized that no one would ever truly be free again. At the very last moment he blanked his file, changed his face, and created a back door into the system. Now he was nameless, had no past, left no traces, according to the IDB he no longer existed. But he could become anyone at any time for any reason. Not being in the system meant that he had to earn a living outside of the normal confines of human society. But there were people willing to pay cold, hard cash for a man who could be anyone and then disappear once the job was done.
