Sinopse
Engages with the problems of statelessness in relation to literary work in French to enhance understanding of the ways in which poetry is shaped materially and conceptually by experiences of migration.Offers the first substantial study in English of Armen Lubin to help appreciate more deeply the large French Armenian community's relationship to the traumatic events of the Armenian genocide. The other poets selected offer case studies (from Egypt and Romania) from outside the more frequently explored historical and political contexts of research in French-language literature.
