Sinopsis

We got the New Testament in an “original” Greek. The Author was recently confronted with some claims that Greek was not its actual language of composition for the Christian Scriptures. Then he asked himself: “Were the autographs of the New Testament actually written in Greek or Hebrew, Aramaic, or whatever language or dialect was spoken by the Jews in Israel during the first century?” He investigated the matter and found enough reasonable evidence to come up with convincing conclusions. They are collected here, hoping they will be a satisfactory answer to those interested in this challenging question.

Giuseppe Guarino was born in Catania, Sicily. He loves the Bible and has dedicated the last twenty years to the study of its original languages. Among his books, New Testament Greek for Beginners, The Majority Text, Jewish Background of the New Testament, The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Bible, 7Q5 The New Testament and the Dead Sea Scrolls,, Caught Between Science and Faith, The Name of God, 53: The Death of the Messiah Foretold and explained. Where does authentic ministry lie? The answer of this book is: in the heart. Authentic ministry is not simply a matter of mastering professional skills or of endlessly pouring oneself out in works of service. Rather, it springs from joyful union with Christ. Authentic Ministry offers practical guidance and spiritual nourishment for all who serve the church. Each of the nine chapters orients readers to the "one thing [that] is necessary" (cf. Luke 10:42)―abiding in Christ―while asking and answering questions both simple and profound: What is prayer? How should I respond to suffering? Who is my friend? What is theology? What does it mean to love? This short volume originated as a series of talks delivered to various assemblies of students, pastors-in-training, and church leaders in the UK and beyond.

    The serpent isn’t dead. She’s only sleeping…
When it comes to finding a research breakthrough, scientist Karlin McKenna won’t let anything get in her way–at least not until her employer pressures her into crossing an ethical line. If she refuses to play their game, it could cost her everything. Including her brother’s life.
Private security operative Asher Forge has never been one to turn down a chance to go undercover, and taking part in a top secret medical trial sounds pretty sweet. Especially when his client happens to be a beautiful redhead who clearly hasn’t broken a rule since the second grade.
It doesn’t take long for Asher and Karlin to realize that taking down Senera Pharmaceuticals is going to be even more difficult than they expected. And little do they know that even darker secrets are lurking in the cold desert night.
    Serve. Protect. Redeem.
Forge Brothers Security is a clean and Christian romantic suspense series. Each book is a standalone and can be read in any order. Tropes for Forged in Deception include he falls first, class clown hero, type A heroine, and opposites attract.
Content note: This book contains discussion of demonic entitles. If you are sensitive to this type of content, one of my other books might be a better fit for you!
