  "The Silence of the Lambs" is a 1991 psychological horror-thriller directed by Jonathan Demme. The film follows FBI trainee Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster), who is tasked with interviewing the imprisoned cannibalistic serial killer, Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins).
