"When a man has reached the point where he can sit in meditation for six months there is no need of eating, No need of latrine or of rest. Only one drop of amrit nectar from the top of the head to the body keeps him alive." Dude Baba,1993

"Dude Baba was a dear friend and god brother to Maharaji. His deep, soulful kirtans and lectures are the highest bhakti, or devotion to Lord Ram, and yes, Babaji ate nothing for the last forty-five years of his life. A true Siddhi Yogi. You are blessed to be in his divine company." Baba Ram Das / Author 'BE HERE NOW'

Ram Krishna Das Vaishnaba, or Dude Dehari Baba, or Milk Baba was so named because he lived forty-five years entirely on one small cup of milk per day. No other food ever passed his lips. Baba lived in a small room by the Bagmati river at Pashiputinath temple, five kilometers outside of Katmandu. His beautiful matted hair, or jata, was over twenty-six feet long. Baba was a lifelong devotee of Lord Rama and God Brother and confidant of Neem Karoli Baba, the iconic guru of Baba Ram Das. Lord Rama, also known as Ramachandra, is the seventh avatar of Krishna, one of his most popular incarnations along with Parshurama, and Gautama Buddha. Rama was born to Kaushalya and Dasharatha in Ayodhya, the ruler of the Kingdom of Kosala. Dude Baba was always chanting the name of Rama and was a master musician and great singer of bhajans. In 1993 he met American devotee author Jagannatha Dasa and subsequently travelled to his farm community in Lockport, New York for a six-month residency at the SRI ashram there. While there Dasa arranged for Baba to begin a mammoth two week recording session with a host of popular Indian musicians in order to get his collected bhajans down on tape for posterity. Recorded too were several inspirational lectures. Here then is the fruit of a lifetime spent as an ardent servant of Lord Rama and liberating transcendental vibrations of a pure devotee.

The glory of God is a central theme that runs throughout Scripture. But what is God's glory? And what does it mean to glorify God? These are perhaps the most important questions we could ever ask. To answer them, it is crucial to see how God's glory is at the heart of the gospel and of the entire story of the Bible.

According to biblical scholar Donnie Berry, glory refers to all the things the triune God is full of―his wisdom, love, creativity, beauty, strength, compassion, justice, life, joy―made manifest for us to see, to experience, to respond to, and, perhaps most surprisingly, to participate in. From beginning to end, God's plan has always been to reveal his glory to his people and through his people, so that his glory will fill the earth. This volume provides a rich study into the meaning of God's glory in the story of the Bible and what it means for your life today.

Through accessible insights, The Earth Will Be Filled explores how the theme of glory can deepen your understanding of Scripture, offering you a meaningful way to reflect on God's majesty and presence. This book is an invitation to immerse yourself in the awe of God's glory. Step into the richness and wonder of God's glory with The Earth Will Be Filled, and discover how glory permeates Scripture and invites us into a life-transforming response.

If all the world's a stage, Jacci will play her part.

She only hopes her story does not turn out to be a tragedy.

In 1881, Jacci Reed is only five years old when a man attempts to kidnap her from the steamboat her mother, Irena, works on. Badly wounded during the confrontation, Irena takes Jacci aboard the Kingston Floating Palace, a showboat tied up beside them. There, Jacci's actor grandfather tends to her mother, and Jacci gets a first taste of the life she will come to lead.

Fifteen years later, Jacci is an actress aboard that same showboat and largely contented with her adopted family of actors, singers, and dancers. Especially Gabe, who has always supported her, and the gruff grandfather she has come to know and love. Jacci's mother has been gone for years, but the memory of the altercation that ultimately took her life--and the cryptic things Jacci has overheard about her past--is always there, lurking in the back of her mind.

When someone on the showboat tries to kill Jacci, it's clear her questions demand answers. But secrets have a way of staying in the shadows . . . and the answers she craves will not come easily.

Conventional leadership wisdom says Hobby Lobby shouldn't work. So why does it?

David Green, the founder of Hobby Lobby and an unlikely leader, grew his company from a $600 start-up to an $8 billion company that gives 50 percent of its profits away to fund initiatives all over the world. He blazed his own path in business, drawn not from business gurus but from the pages of Scripture.

To raise up and encourage the next generation of leaders, David Green shares 12 unconventional principles that drive Hobby Lobby. These core principles can open doors to greater success in business and life, and they fall into three major categories:

    ● God-focused practices
    ● people-centered practices
    ● commonsense practices

Whether you lead a business or a nonprofit, a small business or a multinational corporation, a start-up or a department, this book will show you how breaking the conventional rules of business may be the best decision you ever make.

How can I introduce my life without tipping my hand to enough detail that you will not need to the rest of this book? I am thinking this as I write the Introduction: Take Two. I wrote so much, and that which I wrote, I absolutely loved, but it was too much, it tipped my hand, it was a spoiler of the story to come. So I hit the delete key to write a simple message instead.
Within the pages of this book I will tell you my story. It’s a story of a latch-key kid born out of time; a boy who lived a latch-key life before that term was coined by social scientists concerned about all these kids coming home from school to an empty house. I am here to say that their fears are justified. Indeed, I agree that idle time is the Devil’s plaything, and my life shows how unsupervised children can become rotten to the core. I reject that we are blank slates waiting for moral input. If I was unsure of that as a child, I am convinced of it now, as I look back!
I do not mean to suggest that growing up with supervision will prevent us from being sinners, nor that every unsupervised child will grow up as I did, but rather, I want to show you the impact untempered sin has in a young boy’s life. I want to show you that growing up without God leads to a life of sin. I want to show you that sin begets sin. I want you to learn that following God is truly the most important thing you can do!
